New BSB Message Board Skin & Layout

Everyone should be seeing the new wider message board layout. If you aren't try to reload the page or restart your browser.

As requested you can change the background color to light or dark depending on your preference in the bottom left corner of the main page of the forum.

If anyone has any issues or comments please post them here. Enjoy!

I'm having a tough time with the wider layout as the board extends wider than my screen and I find I have to use the bar at the bottom to slide back and forth to read everything. Could you guys make it slightly narrower so it all fits on the screen as it used to? Thanks!

Same here.Maybe I have just become Lazy..But why mess with it when it was right???

Ya me too. It is just to wide.Have to use the bar on the side to get the whole sentence.No big deal. Just nicer before..

To try to explain further, I think it was Tampa who mentioned years ago, when the font appeared too small, to hit Control and + and the type got larger and it has worked ever since. Last night with the new board it doesn't fit on the screen but if I hit Control -, it gets very small. Is there an in between setting? I don't have this problem with any other message board that I use on the internet, and I didn't have it with the old Broke Straight Boys board until last night.

That is exactly my problem too. I would think it should be an easy fix as now three of us have complained about this problem, and I would imagine others will notice as they log onto the forum, as well.

Also when I click in I see then end of last post. And the beginning of where to make new post.No big deal I guess. Just doesn't flow
like it did.Were lucky having the forum.

I am fortunate that I've not experienced any major difficulties. The changes seem more evident on my mobile devices than my desk top? I am not sure if that's because my default browser is Chrome on the mobiles and Edge on the desktop or not? As far as navigation goes, having recently upgraded to Windows 10.,it took a little while to assimilate to the changes....but in time, it's all become quite familiar

I use google chrome Betu, which is what you say you use on your mobiles, so perhaps that is the browser that is causing the difficulties. Hopefully when the work week starts on Monday, Mark can have his tech people look into this.

By the way one of the other forums that I am on is JustUsBoys which is also one of Mark's companies and that works fine, just as this forum did before the "upgrade". Hopefully an adjustment can be made to keep everything on the screen again as it had been. Isn't there a saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"? lol

Our graphic artist was off this weekend. As soon as hes back at work tomorrow (monday) we will get this all fixed up for those with lower res monitors / small screens.

Thank you Bryce. I work on Monday and I hope to see everything all fitting on my monitor as before, when I get home tomorrow night. I do spend a lot of my time when I am not working with my screen set to this forum and I would really appreciate your resetting it so it appears as it did before. Mark has always maintained a great team with customer satisfaction a high priority and so I thank you in advance!

Hey Mikey,

My suggestion is to hold down on your control key and at the same time use the rolling scroll device in the center of your mouse. If you move the rolling scroll back or forth it changes the size of everything. (Assuming your mouse has the rolling scroll thing in the center of course.) That way you can make the print and size of the page larger or smaller and can customize the size exactly the way you want it. Please let me know if that works for you.

I just tried it Tampa, and it does the same thing as control + and control -. It goes from 150 which is too big to 125 which is too small. It needs the adjustment by the designer to be as it was before, that my control dial doesn't help. But thanks for the advise, Tampa.

You're welcome Mikey. I tried. With mine I can customize the size of the print about at any variation I want.
