I just watched this video on BTS and Loved it! Changed my mind about all of them. Actually, I always thought Jimmy was attractive, I just didn't like his attitude. But then I saw him in the New York Broke Straight Boys events and I grew to like him. I saw that he really is a great down to earth guy. And kudos to Jimmy for taking all the heat.CAn't wait to meet some of these guys in Austin!

It appears to me that Clay has employed a variety of types of straight guys to appear in the scenes, and Jimmy like CJ who just appeared in a three way, with Rocco and Brett, also does not touch or suck or certainly anally receive another guy's dick. To me, neither is being "arrogant" or "defiant", or "uncooperative".

Every model here does not have to do everything. I believe that your beef should be with management for hiring "straight guys" like Jimmy and CJ whose roles in these scenes are to receive oral and to provide other models with a good ass fucking. I see them as being excellent employees performing exactly the roles that they were hired to perform.

Jimmy was looking over the edge of that totally awesome bed with his arms crossed, leaning away from the other two boys and with a hurt smile on his face for most of the video, and with good reason.

All he had to say was that he was doing what he'd been contracted to do: roll his eyes and sigh, show resignation and slight disgust, act out the Kinsey Zero reaction to the fuckin' fag stuff he was being forced to undergo. Those first posts, when the complaints started deluging the forum, probably struck Jimmy as pretty ironic. He knew he'd been groomed for total stardom, been given the parameters of his character, had Mark and Clay congratulating each other, but that for whatever reasons (unsubtlety and ham acting?) the scenes had mostly backfired.

I loved this video, like most everyone else. And the three guys are all bright and amusing, each in his own way. I will say that you can tell Li'l Keeper is well aware that he's more adorable than a litter of week old kitties in a basket with a bow. His sailor hat with the upswept curls peeping out were all the proof of that you need. But hey, I agree. He and Rocco are my faves.

Caveat: I really missed Logan, Leon and Tyler, and up to a point Dustin and CJ (mark 1.0.), when Bobby stumbled on "the long words". He did awesome for a kid who didn't graduate high school, and who probably got more out of his academic career, such as it was, than many a Broke Straight Boys with a BA, but it means he and I can't be besties if he doesn't understand what I'm saying.

I do want to clarify though that many of us are only wanting Jimmy to go farther, and a little faster in his progression. I think he's a cute guy with a nice body. I am liking his personality more and more as I see him in BTS videos. Just like with a Hollywood movie actor we are rating his performance in his scenes. Unfortunately his performances for many of us (though not all of us) have been underwhelming.

I have to agree. I also seem to recall that certain Broke Straight Boys models in the prior incarnation also did not bottom or at least did so only when they were absolutely forced to do so. Diesal comes to mind as does Mike Robbins. I do not expect every model here to bottom. However I would love to see Jimmy bottom if he was ever so inclined to do so. Who knows he might discover he likes it.

Jimmy has been hired to play a role and he does so quite well. Now that role obviously is not the cup of tea of a very vocal group of individuals whop post here. But equally true is that he has his fans. I am one of them. He could do more and I would like to see him do so. But so far he has not done anything to upset me. Not to mention watching the footage from New York added a whole new depth of character to him that made me feel a lot more affinity towards him. I know guys like that and mentored some homeless kids with that same type of attitude. This is a great addition to Broke Straight Boys It feels like they are coming back to what we enjoyed and expected at Broke Straight Boys As much as I enjoyed this interview I still await the posting of the individual interviews they used to advertise the new site.
I know some members can not resist their personal, ignorant attacks " Bobby stumbled on the long words" but I hope Bobby takes it with a grain of salt and IGNORES it. This may have been said about Jimmy (I used to waltz into the forum knowing everything that had been posted on all the threads except Help I'm Bored, but it takes me so long to see the videos that time constraints have become a real issue) and I'm pretty sure it's a general observation that I've made before, nonetheless:

it's not whether he, or the other KinseyZero guys, actually get fucked or suck dick that's important to me. As one of the first people to say on the forum that it's the guys' evolution, or progression, that interests me, I'd like to say that an evolution of Attitude is a lot more important to a gay audience than a progression of gay sex acts. Lots of people are defending Jimmy's disdain on the basis of his heterosexuality. I want him to stay heterosexual but to evolve in subtler ways than touch, jack, suck, kiss, bottom. Just a glance of complicity or affection toward the guy who's providing his pleasure, or a compliment or a nuzzle, or a spontaneous reach around for the other guy's dick, to show solidarity. I find that stuff much hotter than I would seeing Jimmy's grimaces of pain and disgust if he ever found himself flaccid and unhappy in the unspeakable act of bottoming. I have watched the BHS video and absolutely loved it; I think that scene will do more to improve the image of Broke Straight Boys 2.0 then all the actual scenes thus far lumped together. If we were to take a poll right now I bet the site popularity has gone up 20 points. The reason, which is very simple, involves how close we are allowed to become with the models. To hear them read our comments and react to what they read makes them seem more like real people and friends instead of some street hooker. My bet is after that one report Bobby will easily become the new Tyler. And if Jimmy were allowed to post on the forum as long as he kept an open mind and a civil tongue in his mouth my bet is he would soon be the new diesel or Mike Robins. And as for Clay the best thing he could have done when they mentioned his name would have been to step out from behind the camera and introduce himself. If he had done that simple gesture I bet he would never again receive a bad comment about himself. Now I am not saying we should become personal friends with any one of the guys but it means a great deal to see them on human terms. I sincerely think that has always been what separates Broke Straight Boys from the other porn sites. Look at it this way on the other sites like CF you see some very nice looking guys having sex and that’s about it. You don’t know who they are or what they are doing there. I don't see how your comments could get you into any "trouble", Denny. I think that this scene was a stroke of genius and it humanizes the models and Clay.

I recall that Scorpio told us as soon as the new scenes wee released that they have many changes and surprises in store for us, but they wanted to bring out the changes slowly. That is a good idea, as we are all accustomed to things being as they were, and change can be a bit of a shock to the system.

But I certainly hope that they continue to feature the models and "the voice", Clay in more BTS and hopefully posting on the board too. The personal human aspect of seeing that Jimmy, Jamie, Bobby and Clay hanging out, joking and laughing and actually interacting with us makes them seem like a cool bunch of guys, and not just actors on a porn set. Kudos to all involved!!!

Denny and Mike I couldn't agree with you more. The fact that we get introduced to the more popular models in areas of the site like BTS helps humanize them in the eyes of us members. It's just one more thing that sets Broke Straight Boys apart from other sites.

For instance the BTS vid of MikeR only helped improve the standing of an already popular model. He came across as such a nice young man that many of us would not have minded just meeting him for a cup of coffee. With no sexual motives at all. Now we have videos like that of fine young men for posterity. Rest in Peace dear Mike.

I agree with Denny that for Clay to stand or sit in front of the camera would improve his standing just as it has for other models who have talked openly on BTS. Not that we don't already like him of course. I'm sure though that it is not a question of if, but when he will do it. I will not force the issue though. When Clay decides that he is ready and willing to do that, we will thank him for the gesture.

The idea of doing this interview was pure brilliance. It came at just the right time. It also reinforced everything Mark was trying to tell us. For one that Clay reads all the threads related to his scenes. And secondly but perhaps most importantly...Mark has told us repeatedly when the posts have gone very negative towards models on a personal level...that it's quite possible the models themselves are reading those posts. So here he made sure that we saw the models doing just that.

Obviously there are plenty of models who will read reviews of their work here in the forum with no prodding whatsoever from Mark or Clay to do so. They are given free memberships to the site so they can see how the finished product of their scenes turned out. So it only makes sense that some of them would be curious to see what the viewers themselves thought of their scenes.

Don't think for a minute that in addition to Mark wanting to give us the pleasure of being introduced to them in a non porn setting...that he had another motive as well. I'm sure he took some small pleasure in knowing that some members would be squirming in their seats. lol A not so subtle reminder that when we say negative things about models (or staff) that we are talking about real human beings.
