It's cool! Not everyone liked Jimmy! Doesn't change the fact that he's still working and obviously, making money in this business....go figure?

Quantity of scenes or work given to him certainly doesn't automatically equal quality though. haha If people on other sites are willing to pay money to watch him do what he does, then that's up to them of course. As long as I had to keep watching and paying and seeing our and my money going into his pockets over here though, the more I resented it.

The point is that "quality" is totally subjective and that some of your favorite models are not always considered "quality" by me and others, but I don't think the same way. We've had numerous models on Broke Straight Boys over the years whose scenes did nothing for me, but I never "resented" the fact that my money was paying their salaries too, for I understand that Broke Straight Boys caters to a wide array of tastes.

When a particular model turns me off, I usually avoid watching their scenes and wait for something more to my liking, usually without making the negative comments that Jimmy's alpha personality seemed to bring out in others. But obviously different folks react differently to someone who does not appeal to us.

Your negative opinion of Jimmy when you first started posting on the forum was quite apparent from the start. And there was a large contingent of what I called "Jimmy bashers" joining in with you, so you shouldn't act surprised that others agree with you now.

Interesting, I never was turned on by Spencer or thought much of him as a model, but never used the word "jackass" to describe him on the forum.

And, I have to agree Ash, "I know what I like" too! It may not always be the "most popular" model either. I did catch a scene with Jimmy Johnson and Lucas together during the Christmas break. I got a kick out of seeing the two together since, they both appeared on Broke Straight Boys at different times, never did a scene together on this site but, here they were......! While the "scenario and the camera work" wasn't what I grown accustomed to enjoying on Broke Straight Boys, it was observable from my perspective, to see both models "grow" in terms of their professional dynamics....Lucas still looks into the camera but.....that eyes rolling up.....means he's "feeling it"! LOL!

That doesn't mean he is better than any of the others Johnny. It probably means that he knows nothing else to do and is carrying on doing the only thing he "allegedly" is good at. Other members have probably taken one of two directions - A good career or behind bars.

As much as our egos might like to see our opinions prevail in the majority throughout life, our opinions on porn and even other people are just that... Our own opinions. There can be no right opinion or wrong opinion when discussing subjective reactions to porn. (Including the merits of certain models.) We can disagree with contrasting opinions. I have always like Jimmy because he was very much exactly what he claimed to be and nothing else. I find it amusing that all the years after he left here, he still causes as much commentary as he does from the members. I do not know if Jimmy knows how to do anything else but given his background and his desire to provide for his kid, this is a good way to make a decent chunk of change quickly and not worry about the cops knocking at the door. Dink Flamingo is not know for employing losers, he has consistently provided good content on his website over the years. What he is known for is expecting high standards from his models which means no bad attitude, no drug use and he loves to push the limits. So Jimmy may be giving up some booty if he continues working for Dink. Apparently he has done 3 scenes and two of them have been posted.

But as far as Jimmy is concerned, I do not think he will be getting a job on Wall Street as a high frequency trader any time soon. I like him but I do not think he has the background or education to ever get a good paying career outside of a union apprenticeship in one of the skilled trades like electrician, plumber or carpenter. I wish him the best and I do enjoy looking at him.

I agree with Johnny, Jon. I am sure that there are many former Broke Straight Boys models who would love to still have the career that Jimmy has. I think it does say a lot that Jimmy has gotten more and more successful over the three years since he first emerged crossing that bridge on the beach to launch BSB2. While doing internet porn may not be the ideal career path to support his family, I can think of a lot of worse things that former Broke Straight Boys models have done that could land them behind bars.

Jon, Logan is the exception to the rule. I highly doubt if any other former model here is as bright or successful as Logan, and Tyler too is an exception who got out of the modeling and into the production end as soon as he could, much as Chad did as well. I have no idea what line of work Shane is in, but it is not the t shirt and hat business. David told us that when he was still permitted to post on the forum, after his days as director were over.

The point is that some do well, many do not, but I am still pleased for Jimmy and his family that he is still earning a good living, while not compromising his standards. And by the way, if he does ever decide to bottom for the right price, I will still respect him as he did it his own way, (Frank Sinatra pun intended).
