Wow, something on Broke Straight Boys that actually compelled me to respond on a forum after months of LOA... Kudos to you, Chuck, for including the BST shot with Lucas/Mike/Johnny. It was one of the most impressive videos I have seen on your site. I'm drawn to genuine, honest, open people, and that type of interview was heartwarming because it makes me more understanding of the models' situations, opinions, behaviors, and responses in the video. It also may help reduce (obviously not eliminate) some of the annoying assumptions stated in user posts. I've removed myself from interacting via the forum because I grew tired of mean-spirited comments and presumptions that led to bickering and disagreements. I do miss seeing my favorites like Jayman and Slim online, but am glad to see MsK, beth, Lovelumps, RobH, Tampa, Mike, and others who continue to provide thoughtful comments. Here's to seeing continuing product improvement on Broke Straight Boys

It is so nice to see you on the forum again Kaalaaupuni, and I too miss Slim and Jayman here. Their presence is very much missed.

I totally agree that these new BTS are the best things coming out of Broke Straight Boys lately, (aside from a new AYDEN scene ). I find that the more I see of a model in an "off the set" setting, the more I like them, as I too enjoy the honesty and meeting the genuine person who makes a decision to film gay porn for this site. This new BTS series is a total breath of fresh air here for me too.

I know from the BTS vids that you are a very intelligent (and eloquent) man. In hindsight though I think you'll agree that the way you presented and introduced yourself was not the wisest course of action. If you present yourself in one persona in the porn videos, another persona on social media and F4F, another one in the forum, and yet another one in the BTS vids...then your credibility is in shreds. That's a very difficult hole to dig yourself out of. Many of us may enjoy a little bit of fantasy. But it can't be taken to extremes.

Here in the forum if the bullshit meter is jumping way off the scale...there's bound to be a backlash. Most of us in here are intelligent, perceptive and worldly people. No model is going to get too much over on us. Especially if he's really inconsistent. As Another1 says, this has been a learning experience for everyone. Going forward, there's bound to be some people in here who will write you off. I think you'll find though that many of us...perhaps a majority, can also be a quicker forgive. I count myself in the latter category.

Honesty doesn't mean that you have to answer every personal question put to you. It does mean though that the questions you do choose to answer or personal info that you willingly share, should be consistent and not contradicted by you elsewhere. One of my favorite sayings is, "If you tell the truth...you don't have to have a good memory."

I do believe you when you say that the BTS Lucas is closest to the real you. Mainly I suppose because you would have so little to gain (and perhaps some fans to lose) by lying about so many things you divulged in there. I thank you for the heads up that your upcoming scenes already in the can will have you making derogatory statements about doing gay sex. I do have love for you Lucas as one human being to another. I look forward to getting to know you the real you better.

Lucas...as you probably know, I have been a fan since your solo. I realize that there are story lines to follow. But, thankfully you have set the record straight and I have even more respect for you now. I hope the sub title on the BTS video..Lucas' last day...is not, in fact, your last day on Broke Straight Boys I hope there will be many more. I think that this is a good idea Lucas. People will accept you for who you are. I can assure the members that the BTS is the real you. After spending a week with you during your scenes I feel that you opened up to me when we talked and showed me the real you. I of course wish you hadn't decided to go in to the studio and show something different than who you really are but I am also glad that the BTS has shown members who you really are. We have all made mistakes in our lives and what is important that we learn from them and I see that you have. You are a great guy and I am happy that you are a part of the Broke Straight Boys family.

I just got around to watching this episode. I think everything positive and negative about it has already been covered so I'm going to skip my two cents worth.

But I just wanted to say this: somebody should tell Lucas (and the BluMedia staff) that the one thing he should be careful about saying is that his girlfriend that he's been having sex with for the past four months is only SEVENTEEN YEARS OLD. I don't know how old Lucas is, but if he's on this site, he's at least EIGHTEEN. I'm guessing he's at least 21 though. Anyway, having sex with a 17 year old (even if you are 18) is STATUTORY RAPE. Not only are you putting yourself in danger but you're also opening up BluMedia to a lawsuit.

That's a good point, Deeteedub and I wondered about it enough to look into it further, mainly out of curiosity. Although Tennessee does have strict laws regarding statutory rape, the ages of the people involved apparently makes a big difference to whether a crime has been committed and the seriousness of the crime. In regard to a 17 year old having sex with an 18 year old Tennessee laws states that if the couple's ages are within 3 years of each other (Lucas' stats put him at 18) then no laws are broken.

I just Googled it tho, so I could be quite wrong...
