I find that concept hilarious. I literally "laughed out loud" reading that. It's like a Saturday Night Live parody of a Broke Straight Boys gone wild. While Broke Straight Boys is the only site I am a member of, I have seen preview clips and X-Tube scenes of some of the other studios that you referenced, and you did make me laugh.

In retrospect, it is hilarious...but in the case of Austin, it was completely true and how it really happened. I literally saw 4 new updates featuring Austin across 4 different paysites, all in the same week awhile back.

What you wrote I feel the same way and it makes perfect sense to me in the long run. This is the perfect feedback we are looking for, not being bashed or threaten that members are going to cancel. This is the correct way of putting your feedback.

I'm still waiting to hear from the person that started this thread. He's a "big shot" but he didn't back up why he's canceling his members ship after so many years. I pose the question to him in a professional business manner...I even PM'd him and he didn't have the decency to reply back to my PM or to his original post.

If your a member and you want to cancel or your don't like this site...tell us your beef and how you would better the site. Just don't come on this forum, give all negative remarks...piss on management and then disappear. Back up your claim and give us feed back just like ABE just did...this is the type of feedback we can read and honestly have a discussion about.

Going back to Abe's post. I already made such changes. I totally agree with you 100% about having models being seen all over the internet. I tell all the models, if you go to another website and start whoring yourself out, we are no longer hiring you back and placing you on Broke Straight Boys I don't think its right for our members to see our Broke Straight Boys models go for studio to studio. Its not fare to us and its not fare to our members that are here to watch first time boys having gay sex for the first time.

If a model does come from another site, I will and have been disclosing the truth about that model...but thankfully, most of the models and the future Broke Straight Boys models you will only see here on Broke Straight Boys I will say, we still have a lot of models that are loyal to our studio and will only work with us and you will not see them anywhere except for Broke Straight Boys Its the nature of the biz, that at times we can't control it and some models will go to studio to studio. Remember we don't own models....LOL. Slavery has been abolished a long time ago...LOL.

As for the solos...sorry guys...but at times we need to have the models do a solo. They are freaked out, and feel uncomfortable doing this so its our way of getting the use to the lights and cams as well as it introduces a new model and you can hear there story. Solos are part of the porn industry, industry wide.

Every point ABE has suggestion we, myself, have already went into effect and with time and patient, our members will start seeing this change.

As for current repeat models....we love them to death...we there mentors...but after a while we can only use them oh so much and we have to move on to newer boys and they need to move on with there lives. Eddie and I tell each model to get a job, go to some sort of school...being a "model" is not a career. Even Austin Grant is burned out after a few years....and he is no longer filming for any studio...and where did all his "fame & glory" get him...nowhere...he has nothing to show for it...and he's back working as a waiter in his hometown.

Even Mathew Rush...the last of the most popular "porn stars" was working in Starbucks for a while in Ft.Lauderdale making coffee! Even Mr. Rush's porn career took him so far, now you can see him on any site or any studio that would hire him for a lot less then what he use to make in his heyday.

I know members will be pissed off at management in the future of Broke Straight Boys when we no longer will feature some of the repeat models...and nobody likes change...but to keep our site fresh and popular and to keep the majority of our members happy, we have to change models often to bring in the new and let go of the old. There will always be another TAZ, another Tyler, another Logan, another Diesal...and oh so many more!!!

Guess I'm a loyal Broke Straight Boys guy. I had seen Austin on Broke Straight Boys and College Boy Physicals only. It's sad to know that he has stopped filming. There was never a time that Austin was shown in an upcoming episode that I did not look forward to it. Perhaps if he takes some time off and then wishes to make some 'guest' appearances, Broke Straight Boys would be good enough to invite him back. He added so much to the entire package. However, in everyone's life, there does come a time to simply move on. I want to wish him nothing but the very best and thank him for many enjoyable espisodes here on Broke Straight Boys Thanks Austin! My very best wishes for a great life. I love and I'm a fan of Austin...this was the first studio he started working and I've seen him grow. Austin has a home here at Broke Straight Boys and is always welcome but he needs a break and we need to give other models a chance. That was brilliant! I agree with you on so many of those things. And you said it with humor, thoughtfulness and without a bunch of negativity. I agree with you on not liking to see Broke Straight Boys models who are overexposed on other sites. Your comments on the solos are right on. We may not like so many of them but they are necessary in the industry.

As for seeing old favorites return I am all for that. My only caveat is that I personally feel that they should bring something a little different to the table the next time around. For if they are only going to do repeat scenes of stuff that is already in the archives from 2 or 3 years ago...it seems a waste of time to bring them back. If they are brought back they should be willing to push the envelope. Just my opinion. Though I must admit that nostalgia is a powerful thing. And many of us want to see what some of our old favorites look like now. As well as to be reassured that they are well and happy in their personal lives.

Your comments are CF are quite true. I have to agree that Lucas is way too long in the tooth to be passed off as a college student. He looks oddly out of place with 19 y/o's. haha Not that he's ugly or over the hill by any means. Just no longer in the core demographic of the site.

I know the military site you're talking about. I've had a couple one month memberships with that one. It's a good site. But I don't think that David or other Broke Straight Boys staff have the time or desire that Rob does in going into chat rooms looking for cam photos of hot straight guys. Or posing as hot girls and then slowly coaxing hot guys into trying porn. haha Even though getting the chance to read David's comments in a chat room as he pretended to be a girl would be quite entertaining!

Sorry to hear that but we do have new models coming. Yes we have to put a lot of straight boys in solo's and then duo's. I'm also updating twice a week and we used to update 1-2 times a week. I've added behind the scenes videos which the latest one has 2 new models coming soon. I converted to HD and even more stuff coming. I try to give the most I can for you guys but guess you can't please everyone.

I think you do a great job. If you could ever get David to stop saying "and stuff like that" and to use "their instead of there" when denoting a person, I would say you do a stupendous JOB! Tampa...another great post!!! I agree with your point about returning models pushing the envelope. If they are going to come back..then I should be a bit more daring and have them do other stuff as well. The models that are returning, I did ...I pushed some of them to there limits..remember I can only do so much with these guys.

I can get them drunk...LOL. I'm sure they will do more but unfortunately I can't have them drunk and film them at the same time.

As for CF and there model Lucas...in his defense I will admit that the hardest part of any directors/producers job is to let go a model. Lucas like many of our Broke Straight Boys models forms a bond/friendship. We mentor these guys and we are more to a father and mother to them then there real moms & dads. We listen to them, we offer them advice...we see them grow mentally and sexually.

We get to know the models on a level that Mark and the rest of management does not see or understand. Out of the production group...I'm the only person that can separate my feelings...but Eddie is like "mom" to the models and I have to admit..its sad when you don't have a model come back anymore. Its the worse thing about this job. Its very sad and upsetting so perhaps the reason why CF does keep Lucas around is for this very reason.

While we’re all in the mellow mood, maybe it’s time to give some thought to the other half of this equation – you know management is just the equal sign with the models on one side and, guess who, us on the other. And, just as models come and go, so do members. It’s management’s job to keep things in balance. Sometimes they have to let a model go in order to keep the members side equal – and sometimes they have to let a member go in order to balance things out.

We make a lot of demands on management that are just not realistic. They know that, it’s their job to know that. But - well, let me give you an example: a model asks for 1,500 to do anal. Management says, “Yes. I can make my money back on that. I’ll pay you 1,500.” So, the next time he says “I want 2,500 to do anal and some kissing.” Management says “Well, you’re really popular, maybe I can break even and keep the members happy, okay, I’ll pay your 2,500.” Then the model says “I want 5,000 to throw in some rimming.” Management says, “Sorry, can’t afford you, bye-bye.”

Now put that shoe on our foot. Members say “We want to see Horst do anal.” Management says “Okay, I’ll see if we can pay him enough to do it.” The members are thrilled and Horst gets 1,500. Now they demand to see Horst do some kissing. So management negotiates a 2,500 scene with Horst to kiss and the members are ecstatic. Now the members start to scream for Horst to rim. Horst asks for 5,000. “Sorry, management says, Horst won’t rim.” And the members scream, “Pay him enough and he will. They rim on every other site.” And management says, “Yes, but they use gay actors over there.” And members say, “Yes, but they’ll rim for enough money.” And the tumult gets really loud. Finally, management has to say, “Sorry, it just won’t happen. If you want to see rimming, you’ll just have to go somewhere else.” And the members tell management “How dare you talk to us this way. We pay your salary.”

And management knows that. That’s their job. The equal sign is their job. They know their job and do it really well. They know when a model starts asking too much for his work, it’s time to let him go. And when a member starts asking too much for his dollar, it’s time to let him go. We’re just part of the equation, too.

So, Austin got tired of modeling and moved on. How many members do that? I can name at least ten long, long time members who’ve done that since the first of the year. That’s part of the process. Look at all the new members who’ve become an integral part of the equation in such a short time. Some of them are going to be around for a long time. As much as many of us would like to think so, none of us is indispensible. We give our ideas to management and they are very polite about listening to them and responding to them, but they are the equal sign and they have to make it work.
