Okay guys, back to the real issue:

I would be very surprised if Johnny has been terminated. The reason I say this is because none other than Damian Christopher has told us otherwise, i.e. that Johnny has been ill and he is subbing for him until he recovers. And since Damian on more than one occasion has told us the premium he places on integrity and truthfulness, I find it hard to believe he would put those attributes of his at risk by telling us falsehoods with respect to Johnny's status. His reputation amongst the forum members would be forever sullied if that were to be the case. At least that's how I see it.

As a physician, a company cannot and should not disclose someones medical status. That is a private matter and should be left alone. We will probably never know the actual truth but i'm fine with that. doesnt seem to be the case with the "inquiring minds have to know" crowd.

I agree with you Miami in that medical status is confidential! And I didn't ask. As the lawyers would put it, "They (Broke Straight Boys Management) opened the door to that line of inquiry." When several members queried about JohnnyRobbins' absence directing scenes, Damian Christopher of management came on to the forum of his own volition and disclosed that Johnny was ill and that he would be subbing for him until he is better. As more and more time passed, some forumites began to speculate that perhaps Johnny had been let go. I was just expressing my opinion as to that subject. I don't believe anyone has asked any questions as to the specific nature of Johnny's illness; rather, people have sent good thoughts via this thread and as is often the case on the forum, posts can meander into subject matter not directly linked to the subject of the thread.

You have only just joined the forum and for those that have been here a while and post a lot we have developed a community and a sort of family on here so yes inquiring minds as we care about each other and for the people we get to know and so when somebody becomes I'll it is only natural for us to worry and have questions. You seem to only be able to leak acid when ever you talk so I don't know what your reason for being here is as it obviously can't be to become freinds or join what the forum has become. Yes the forum is here to discuss things but not in the constant negative and bitter way that you seem to have to do

Actually I have made friends on here and received many emails that have been welcoming and confirming that there are some disrespetful and nosy people on here. My simple statement "you dont have to know everything". If he is sick then let the guy be sick and not have to go online and say so. neither Broke Straight Boys or johnny have to answer or respond to that. it could be serious, you never know and its nobodys business but his own.

not here to cause trouble but i will call someone out for being an ass. you even scared away a staff member that although long winded was willing to interact with us and tell us the truth about things even though every corporation is out to protect itself. was he truthful with everything? probably not. but its exactly what you would get from any public relations rep from a major corporation. no other staff from what i can find has even posted lately. want to know something i noticed, DC and someone else who I cant tell from his voice have done the last few top rated scenes on College Dudes if johnny is sick then let him be sick. this would be the last place i would post any of my personal information or issues. when he comes back we will have the chance for even more amazing scenes with more people stepping in as producers.

this site has taken too much time out from tanning on a gorgeous day. you have to love miami.

last month when Broke Straight Boys said johnny was ill, they didn't open the door to further inquiry about his illness. the forum is not an American court of law. beyond saying a staff member is ill, there is no duty to provide more information.
the active imagination of some forumite does not create a duty to respond. no one has to prove he is ill. not being seen at work for less than 2 months does not prove he does not have his job.

Obviously if Johnny Robins is ill, I'm sure all of us wish him a full, complete and speedy recovery. However while I wish Johnny well if he is indeed ill, thoughts of his absence make me wonder why the "fill in" director has gone to a totally different style of creating scenes than the man he is temporarily subbing for. The new scenes are more the style of the BTS, and different from the style I've seen used by David, Clay or Johnny. Unless the site uses the method of the television show Dallas, where they made a whole season into a dream sequence, when Patrick Duffy came back, could that happen here too?

I think damian would make a poor acting johnny. I don't think he should try to be another johnny. I think damian makes a good damian and I like his efforts. johnny will continue to adapt his style as he did.

I hate to get off course here but, Another1, Damian Christopher spoke well of you in a return message to me recently! I also appreciate the last couple of comments here that you made! The highlighted reminded me of something totally unrelated though. I used to hate it when other artists would take a very popular song and "try to duplicate it". I didn't mind, in fact, I enjoyed a well done or other versions of the same song. In this case, "Heard it through the grape vine" comes to mind. Many good artists, putting their own spin on it, and still making the song sound good!
