fortude, that is why I am quoting your discussion because I know its your opinion and love to hear feedback and opinions but I also feel at times there has to be a level of reality of what really happens behind the scenes. I think, we at times, forget that this is a business and the lines blur between the fantasy and reality of what really happens.

Back in BSB1.0 times there was the CF site (I am assuming your mean corbin fisher) and then there was Sean Cody site. Even back then, CF and SC had always had better looking models and even today, they have better looking models to date so I understand what your saying.

You think? I don’t think Aiden Asher is over exposed at all. Yeah he’s done quite a few studios but there are other models that are way more over exposed than Aiden. And we already had the discussion a while back that College Boy Physicals was looking for a “Doctor” type. Someone older or someone who can at least pass as a doctor. I do like College Boy Physicals, but I prefer a more believable doctor type. These young twinky boys acting like nurses or doctors doesn’t fulfill any kind of fantasy for me. The older College Boy Physicals scenes with older men like Austin are something I can get into. Just my opinion.

I agree with you. I though Dr. Asher really came across well because he was just old enough to play the young doctor role but still a hottie in his mid to late twenties which made it believable that that young college jocks wanted to get it on with him.

Would love to see the return of Dr. Asher. Don't forget most college students get a month off for the holiday and between Fall and Spring Semester break, and of course Spring Break and next Summer as well! And then Aiden could also tell his college friends that he will be going home for an upcoming weekend and fly to Florida to film a few College Boy Physicals scenes instead! I know I am not alone in stating this & others have as well, why can't Broke Straight Boys recycle popular models that have not been seen recently. Surely by dangling enough of a monetary or even a partner they relate as incentives perhaps will entice them to return.

Its not always about the money...after a while models move on with there life. Some get into relationships and there partners no longer want them to do porn. Sometimes on occasion a family member or work situation or school situation they find out the person did porn and the guy gets into trouble. Some get jobs and are working full time and can't get off, some are working and making a good living. Some of the models end up in jail, some of them pass away.

Some of the models age themselves out or get out of shape and they become older, or fatter and there bodies aren't the same as they use to be.

Then its also the feedback from the members....we get comments such as the following:

"We've seen this model 34 times"
"This model appeared in 54 scenes"
"We want to see fresh new models"

Or "He's not straight"...."he's been appearing on other sites"

Or "Why do they bring back this same model (fill in the blank)....."
"We use to like him, but I don't care for him anymore".....

Then there are models we don't want to bring back because they are mentally unstable (not on medications) or they are drug addicts, or they have the need to be drunk or they have sever personality disorders that we don't bring them back because they don't get along with the other models, crew and don't listen to direction and in some rare occasions, porn is just not for them. Some guys come to a studio, try it out and they feel its not for them or they have a very difficult time performing on camera with all the lights and direction that comes along with production and the stress gets the worse for them and they can't do it.

As you can see there are many factors why you don't see models from the past coming back. This is just not a Broke Straight Boys/College Boy Physicals issue this is industry wide so this is why all studios have a revolving door of models coming and going all the time. There is always guys applying and a new generation of guys coming out of the wood-work and there is always that next hot boy to replace the ones you no longer see.

I don’t, however, expect Broke Straight Boys to get rid of a model all together just because they’ve been in a ton of scenes. But there have been times in the past where it’s like, really? John Henry is a perfect example. I LOVE John Henry, but Broke Straight Boys brought him in too many times back to back. They should’ve spaced him out more. They’ve done that with Jos Alvarez before as well. And Jos Alvarez is one of my favorites. Maybe Broke Straight Boys used them frequently at times because they were dependable and loved having them around, but sometimes that’s throwing the model under the bus and setting up for unfair criticism.

I am not arguing with the above comments, I am well aware of those issues mentioned. I refer to models who say appear this week, then in 2-3 weeks on sites that have 3 episodes a week. Of course not from another era. Simon Rex is an example of a model who I am no longer attracted to him for his body but interested in him as a human being.

I know I can't know everything, especially when it concerns models, but sometimes I wish I knew what is going on and which reasoning applies to which models. It'll just make me more understanding I think, and it surely makes me feel hot everywhere!

I’ve always been more attracted to the models who did it for a while and then went back to living their regular lives, as opposed to those who made a career out of porn, going glom studio to studio. Going back to Broke Straight Boys-1, Robert & Alden were two college kids who made two trips I believe to David’s studio in Florida to record a few scenes each time. Logan was also a college kid who made just two trips, I believe to shoot porn and then got on with his life. We were fortunate that he came back to visit with Sha at Chicago’s Market Days a few years later to tell us that he was finishing his degree in the medical field, but was always grateful to Broke Straight Boys for helping him to discover another side to his sexuality. Very classy kid.

Another that comes to mind from years later is Abram. He told Sha during the pre scene chats that he was working hard at college and filmed the Broke Straight Boys scenes during school breaks too. And the one that intrigues me to this day is Jake Spencer, (see Jay’s current avatar, lol). Jake had just turned 18 and came to Atlanta to work for Broke Straight Boys and made a few trips to film his scenes and never returned, and as far as I could tell from the folks who check social media, he never went on to another studio. I sure hope he is doing well today. Those are just a few examples off the top of my head.

Again, , a reminder of what I missed by not joining the Forum from its beginnings. Of course back then I was working and had many other things to do, but still it is with regret so all this history is good for the majority of members on the forum & we owe you old timer Forumites our gratitude for sharing your experiences.
