Great thread Mike...here is my viewpoint on this thread from my experience. Most of the guys that apply for porn are gay, bisexual and curious about gay sex. All or most really heterosexual straight guys will NOT do gay porn. Again, it all goes back to the Kinsey Scale. I think the money is the deciding factor.
You have a guy, horned up, young and good looking. No job or struggling financially that lives in a very rural community there whole entire life. Doesn't come from a very good family. Father & Mother most likely divorced or Father in Jail for drugs and abuse.
This same guy, watches porn on the internet and thinks to himself, I am good looking and I can do this...so this guy applies to studios, In today's world these type of guys are looking to make money and catch there "15mins" of fame using social media. They see others making great money and bragging about how much money they can earn doing porn.
So they apply. They go through the interview process, and to find out, they have an open mind but never had sex with another guy before but willing to do so. They get to the studio and they try it and make money and they realize its not that bad, so they continue applying and they learn from other models and working with other studios, to create there own social media and within a few months, this guy finds fame and recognition from filming gay porn.
Some of these guys, will do gay porn, but they will not kiss, they will not rim, they will not suck dick, they will not swallow cum. Some just want to top, some are willing to try bottoming, some try bottoming and enjoy it and prefer to bottom.
This guy will go from studio to studio, claiming they are not gay....he is only doing it for the money. They will make it very clear to the directors, the camera person, the owners, and the other models they are not gay. Some of these guys have girlfriends and date girls...some are married, some have kids.
The question is? Was he always gay? Was he in the closet? Was he bisexual or bi-curios? Did he lie about himself to get the job?
Everything I wrote above happens all the time in this industry, and more currently today. They can film here first, then go to studio to studio and make the rounds claiming whatever, whatever they want to consider themselves...so the question is?
What do you believe? How do you handle a model like this? What is the studios suppose to do in these cases?
