Just out of curiosity, to which site are you referring? This thread discusses, compares and contrasts Broke Straight Boys with College Boy Physicals - two sites which have quite different niche themes and have had quite different results the past year in numbers of new models and numbers of new scenes released.
Sorry I am talking about the Premium Site Broke Straight Boys not any of the bonus sites. Talent is lacking/scenes are lacking/ Gone very downhill. I mainly subbed in the BSB2 era and still come back hoping to see good content but I do not. Sometimes I come in to see if old models post on the forum and the content doesnt even entertain. I would say the core focus should be on Broke Straight Boys and adding more scenes and some of the clearly elevated guys on CBF like "Liam Addision" should be on the main site. Obviously the sexuality of the models at this point does not matter as we've seen Patrick Raposa, Grey Gold, Richie and ETC. Who very much are identifying gay men. If the site is making no money its not due to Covid it's due to lack of scenes and bad recruiting.

Hi fortude, thank you for your feedback. We are the crew that films Broke Straight Boys Our history with Broke Straight Boys has been long, we were the first studio that has filmed Broke Straight Boys in the very beginning aka: BSB1.0.
After a while the management of Broke Straight Boys decided to go into another direction and we didn't film Broke Straight Boys for about 9-years. Within those 9-years a lot has changed over time with the Broke Straight Boys site as well as the porn industry has changed over time, the models have changed over time, social media, the type of boys applying have changed then we get covid-19 happening so industry wide there has been many changes since my studio studio has filmed Broke Straight Boys & College Boy Physicals sites.
With this being said, we are just the crew and there are many of us behind the scenes making decisions and we are just one part of the decision making for Broke Straight Boys & College Boy Physicals at this point. As for the owners, they have to find out what works for them, as technology has gotten much better over the years, they can pull reports of what the majority of the members like to see and watch and what scenes are popular and what models are popular.
From the time we filmed BSB1.0 to now, it has changed a lot and so has the sexuality of the models. The porn industry as a whole and what we all like to watch is spread all over the spectrum what one person loves, another person dislikes.
What I've learned in working in the restaurant industry & retail industry mirrors the porn industry and we just can't satisfy everyone all of the time, the great thing about Broke Straight Boys, you also have access to College Boy Physicals site and there are a lot of interviews, vintage videos and throwback videos to watch so there are always in update in the site and much to watch an entertain all of us during the week and month.

Thanks for the response. The only part I personally disagree with is the feeder content- Which I understand has value to some people. I am here for the premium Broke Straight Boys contact which in my opinion has degraded. I enjoyed both Broke Straight Boys 1/2 but mainly subbed in the 2 region (age reasons). From my perspective which could be wrong as you said you guys have analytics and such that I dont. I just don't see how this current product is going to keep the site running between only weekly releases and current talent. Broke Straight Boys used to run more like GayHoopla with models and content.... I feel what they are doing is what Broke Straight Boys used to do and the models they get are more alike to older Broke Straight Boys and they are reaping the reward. There is no reason to become a model for Broke Straight Boys in this current iteration unless you are a tier 2 model. I think there needs to be a stepup in model hiring which is SEVERLY HARD I understand. Then getting back to more then 1 scene a week which can be done but I feel is not being done because the site is not bringing in that much money based on my above reasons (SPECULATION) Just to be very clear I have no blame on the production side...
I am a member of other sites, frankly only Broke Straight Boys & College Dudes is one new episode a week. And frankly the membership fee is not reflective this difference in number of new episodes per week. I am not talking of the same models for the 3 episodes a week site.

Last night I had a online conversation with a member that has been a member for a very long time. He rarely posts here on this forum since he follows a lot of these boys on twitter. He referred a very cute gay twink boy and he was declined. This member found out and he was very upset to the point he was insulted that we didn't hire him. Most insulting he wanted this particular model on Broke Straight Boys

Everything you write is just speculation on your part. Its porn. We all have our own likes and dislikes. There are some points that I agree with you but those points are up to management to make those decisions based on there analyticals and what is the best decision for the majority of the members.
What I know, the majority of the members enjoy what they are watching. Please keep in mind that only a hand few of members actually post here and its the same members posting over and over again. There are hundreds, perhaps thousands of members that think and feel opposite of what you are writing in your posts.
Its super easy to sit home behind your computer screen and think of the fantasy. As the studio, we don't have a magic wand and management doesn't have a magic wand to have the hottest boys appear on the site. We advertise a lot for models but we are at the mercy of whom is applying and if they get accepted or not, we have a very strict venting process. We don't hire guys that are drug addicts, we have to make sure they don't have any STD's of any kind. We have to take extra precautious for covid. There is a lot of responsibilities that we take and liability that we take when hiring a model and start filming before they appear on Broke Straight Boys or College Boy Physicals/College Dudes sites for that matter.
There are all types of sites for all sorts of tastes in this porn world we live in, some studios are reckless in there operations and some are responsible like ours. Some update 3X a week or 2X week while I see a lot of sites update 1X a week or once every two weeks so Broke Straight Boys is not doing anything to anger members and/or future members. I think we have some of the best work, unlike other sites, at least here on Broke Straight Boys you really get to know the model regardless if they have filmed at other studios or if its there first time. We just don't ask the basic questions, we really get into the reality of porn on Broke Straight Boys and I think this is the major factor that members stay with us and has been dedicated to Broke Straight Boys for so many years and have put up with all the changes with Broke Straight Boys because we are always revolving and trying something new or trying to make the scenes a bit more excited or interesting and we are always doing our best to provide great adult entertainment.
I agree with 95% of what you said in both of your posts just to start off with. I know it is not easy hiring models and I wanted to make it clear that this was MY opinion. As you can see I am not a repeat forum user but I did feel strongly about this and yes my takes are purely speculation (that's why i caps'ed it in my original take). My take still centres mainly to the quality of models- The premium "straight appearing/acting" are going to other sites based on what in my opinion is due to having a better lineup of guys. Quality models attract other quality models to want to join as the site gets more attention. Also on a side note I can't believe I am talking to the "classic voice" of BSB1 years ago who talked to Tyler lol. My opinion may be in the minority of "active users" but I am also talking for the people who don't signup anymore because of similar reasons. Broke Straight Boys always was my fav site and now I lean towards CF as I feel they fit a similar criteria but with more elevated models/content. I only am saying this cuz obviously I enjoyed this site and feel like on every side but production has dipped.

fortude, that is why I am quoting your discussion because I know its your opinion and love to hear feedback and opinions but I also feel at times there has to be a level of reality of what really happens behind the scenes. I think, we at times, forget that this is a business and the lines blur between the fantasy and reality of what really happens.
Back in BSB1.0 times there was the CF site (I am assuming your mean corbin fisher) and then there was Sean Cody site. Even back then, CF and SC had always had better looking models and even today, they have better looking models to date so I understand what your saying.
