I think a lot of people have moved on unfortunately, with the pandemic then now inflation and the economy slowing down, I'm guessing some may not have as much disposable income for porn. It would be interesting to see what the membership decline percentage has been since prior, during and after the pandemic. I know I have cut a few sites out of my budget to tighten the belt a bit.

I follow a few models on Reddit that have Onlyfans and one commented a few days ago that he may be stopping filming OF because subscribers are leaving and it just isn't worth his time anymore. I have a few memberships there and I've noticed the same trends on the likes, comments etc, they are going down to near nothing. With piracy of content being a huge issue, I really wonder how much longer things will be around in their current forms.

Just know Jay that I appreciate your efforts to get things spiced up around here again, even if it feels like you are screaming into the bottomless pit. And you too Mike, you have been trying too.

I have said often the Forum is an open forum for everyone to do there own things. It pains me & is a tragic loss that Mike felt the need to retire for now froman active role. I am not alone in also missing Tampa & hope he & his family and outside friend have fully recovered from that disastrous hurricane & will return shortly. Nothing would make me happier than interacting with you all.

Take your time in choosing a career. I know I was thinking of 4-5 fields but life had its own plane for me & it did not in the end include any of them in the long run. But if you are set on porn writing I am sure you already know it will entail hard work and long hours but on the other hand if you love it it will be a labour of love so you of course won't mind. I am so happy for you & wish you great success. If there is anyway I can help you please ask.

Ha thanks, I didn't mean I wanted to write porn for a career - I crossed out porn star as a joke. I'd like to write fiction but this isn't a realistic goal, just a dream. There are lots of good legal jobs if I don't make it as a barrister.

Don't underrate your abilities to be a writer & you can also have two careers as a barrister & a writer. In any case I will whatever you release, as long as I am among the living & who know beyond that.

As always I agree with you. I don’t even check a lot anymore. I’ve mentioned it lots of times that having one scene a week and when most of the scenes aren’t great it leaves not much to talk about. Also with Mark saying to post on the actual scene page as apposed to here there is even less reason to post here. I still hope we get more scenes soon and something happens. Believe it or not I have found most of the College Boy Physicals scenes to me hotter then Broke Straight Boys lately. Fingers crossed. However we are half way though this year and if nothing has happened now I don’t see things getting better if they haven’t by now.

I agree with you that for the last year plus the College Boy Physicals have been hotter, yet when College Boy Physicals models move to Broke Straight Boys, they seem happy to move from a medical examining table to a bed and probably get better pay.

Here is a bit og good news. The senate confirmed our first black supreme court justice.

You typed too fast and omitted the word "female" from "our first black supreme court justice." Males Thurgood Marshall (great) and Clarence Thomas (terrible) were the first two black supreme court justices. When I type rapidly, skipping a word in a sentence happens all the time!

I really haven't read much of the threads on this post. I've just read the most recent ones.

I am glad Leo and Chris are posting but unfortunately we don't have many members that participate on this forum. What I've been doing in the new scenes (that haven't been posted) I am reminding members to come and check out the Broke Straight Boys forum so I think with me talking about it during the before interview, my thinking is that we can get more members participating on this forum.

Although the economy is bad, I think right now there are plenty of members that just come here, watch the porn...and then wait until the next update. I have over 1500 followers between my Youtube Channel and Twitter account and Facebook, have reached out to me that never post here on the Broke Straight Boys forum. When I ask them to come here, they are not interested in coming here with NO specific reason.

One of you guys posted that some of the models that only do OF or JFF sites are not doing it as much. I overhear some other models talk and I think a lot of these models (especially the newer ones) are being very cautious. For one, OF & JFF sites its all the same, you see one hot model over & over again jerking off, or playing with a Dildo and that its the same ole same ole so after a while these guys are loosing members because it all looks the same.

Also which is a huge deal is that most of these guys on OF/JFF sites, collaborate with each other without getting tested and they are all having unsafe sex. Right now in our country, STD's are on the raise. You know how many models I here got some STD from filming with other guys for social media. So I think the issue with having unsafe, unprotected sex without being tested is a huge deal breaker for these guys and they are cutting back on filming with each other (at least the smarts ones are doing that) and I think less and less guys are really placing the effort into doing it because of the fact doing social media is a full time job and also very unsafe sex.

I know something is happening because in the past few months we are getting really hot guys applying and lots of them are not interested in doing social media. The current mood I am hearing now is they rather do "studio" work for now, they are getting paid and getting tested and feel much safer in a studio then just meeting up with random guys for sex.

I've heard so many horror stories from models regarding hooking up with other guys to film social media, and too me its not just worth it so I think the tied is changing to benefit the studios, slow changes are most welcome and I am excited for you guys to see some of the newer guys and changes as well.

As for this forum, we can't lead a horse to water and make them drink. I hope we get some members that want to participate here on this forum.

Thanks for the informative report. For the reasons you discussed, I could never see why models would give up the pre scene testing protection the studios offer to go off to clearly less safe social media alternatives. It would be a good thing if the pendulum swung back to the safety that the studios offer, and would benefit we the viewers as well.

Thanks for posting, David. I know Mikeyank has decided to take a break from the forum and I can’t speak on his behalf. I can only speak for myself. I am also taking a break. I usually start threads for the new scenes so I’m letting any and everyone know that I will no longer be doing that.
I really talked this forum up to Chris Star and was so disappointed at the lack of response to him or Leo. When Adam Baer posts a thread the whole god damn membership comes out and says hello….as do I, because I love Adam just as much as anyone. That same love can be given to others tho.
This forum has become nothing more than a god damn photo album. It’s been overtaken and quite frankly I’m no longer interested in it at all. In fact I’ll probably cancel my membership. I love the scenes and the models and a few of the members but the forum was a big reason why I stayed. Mark worked so hard to improve it and now it’s just gone south. The only positive thing is that I discovered the “ignore” feature two days ago and no longer have to subject myself to bullshit.

Thanks for posting, David. I know Mikeyank has decided to take a break from the forum and I can’t speak on his behalf. I can only speak for myself. I am also taking a break. I usually start threads for the new scenes so I’m letting any and everyone know that I will no longer be doing that.

May I suggest every Forumite has to add their input. By that I mean take the time to add threads that cater to your tastes. I know I have shown over & over again that I respond to most every post.
