Nah, it’s quiet as hell. We used to talk about everything and now it’s just picture threads. I’m not saying picture threads is a bad thing but the forum is definitely missing great conversations. I’ve tried to add stuff that only Mikeyank and Mark were interested In. I‘ve made compilation videos, picture games, all kinds of stuff….crickets.

The above quote is from br on the “favorite movies with a bi/gay slant thread”, which is my fault for mixing threads. I was using that old thread started in 2009 as a comparison to the “Quiet Forum” of today. I thought this was the appropriate thread to discuss this on and not that old thread.

I agree with br 100% that we “can NEVER go back as history tells us”. But my still unanswered question, which I will pose directly to br, is, What can we do to “go forward & create a new AGE.”?

As Jay mentioned above, he put a lot of effort into making Broke Straight Boys compilation videos, picture games involving Broke Straight Boys models and as Jay put it, other than myself and one or two others, the response was……crickets.

And so br, please answer my question, as you have become far and away the most profile poster on Broke Straight Boys of all time now with over 60,000 posts since you joined the forum. You have more than 34,000 more than Tampa in second place. How do you propose to create a new age on this forum to get more members who browse the forum to actually join in and want to participate? Jay’s complication videos and creative games involving Broke Straight Boys has not worked, so what is your suggestion????

There is no easy solution. The way , of course is the product itself. Broke Straight Boys must get back to 3 current episodes a week & that is doable as there are other sites ( I am not talking of the merged sites) that manage 3 new episodes per week. That will hopefully enlarge the base which in turn a number of them will will be drawn to the Forum.

thanks guys, I really do enjoy the forum here.

I just have to vent and ask what you all think, I'm extremely worried about the younger generations and sexual health. I got into a spat with a few players (my phone corrected this from posters but I think the word fits too ) on Reddit about a post a young man made about if he needed PEP after a bareback encounter he had with a random hookup. The hookup was claiming that he took PrEP by showing a picture of a bottle. It's so crazy that they were calling out ME for saying that PrEP only protects the person taking it and that a picture means nothing as you really can't verify if they did take it and taken as directed so it is effective. I just ended up deleting my posts, I just don't have it in me to argue with stupid anymore.

Which I guess leads me to asking the folks here for a gut check... Am I insane for telling the kid to get his own evaluation by a medical professional to see what they think if PEP is necessary?? Or an I way off base and need to shut up?

So sad that we encourage models to post here and everybody is more interested in everything else. We don’t deserve these models sometimes. We are so judgmental towards these young men and they still have the courage to say hi to us despite the mean things they read about themselves.

I encouraged Chris to join and he’s gone out of his way to ask all of us if we have any questions and it’s just a couple of people responding. Leo as well. Seriously, I don’t know what else to do…..at the same time, it’s not even my responsibility to even help or do anything or come up with ideas. I have gone out of my way to post shit and maybe it’s just me. I’m sure I’ve pissed off enough people in the past that they don’t even want to interact with me. I worked so hard on that cum compilation that many seemed to like. I made a rimming compilation that hopefully Mark will release one day, but at this point I hope he doesn’t. Why should I even work so hard for people who just don’t care? Crickets. All it is is a picture forum. That’s it. Nothing else. I give up.

As I’ve often used the restaurant analogy, pictures are a side dish, but the main course here are the scenes and the models who appear in them. It seems that the balance is way out of whack. If a member of the site sees we have a message board, and wants to participate, this board should be all about our models, and if our current models decide to join us, let’s enthusiastically welcome them and talk to them. That will keep the models posting and interest new members to post. And it will hopefully get older members who may have lost interest in what has been going on here to get interested in joining the discussions again. But something is very wrong with the way things are going now. As Jay said, mainly crickets…….

And to reiterate what I said the balance and priorities are way out of balance. This is not the forum I used to love anymore.

Yeah I’m pretty much done. I’ll comment from time to time and especially interact with any models and close friends, but that’s it. I ain’t doing another god damn thing. Nada. I ain’t starting scene threads anymore and I’m not adding updates on people or gossip I may see. Most of it doesn’t even get a response anyway. I think a lot of people have moved on unfortunately, with the pandemic then now inflation and the economy slowing down, I'm guessing some may not have as much disposable income for porn. It would be interesting to see what the membership decline percentage has been since prior, during and after the pandemic. I know I have cut a few sites out of my budget to tighten the belt a bit.

I follow a few models on Reddit that have Onlyfans and one commented a few days ago that he may be stopping filming OF because subscribers are leaving and it just isn't worth his time anymore. I have a few memberships there and I've noticed the same trends on the likes, comments etc, they are going down to near nothing. With piracy of content being a huge issue, I really wonder how much longer things will be around in their current forms.

Just know Jay that I appreciate your efforts to get things spiced up around here again, even if it feels like you are screaming into the bottomless pit. And you too Mike, you have been trying too.
