Finally, March Madness hits the airways. I filled out my brackets and discovered all major schools from IN are going to the NCAA (they purchased their tickets the other day.) I doubt I have a chance to win the big bucks, but unless I try, I have nothing to gain. Chose Arizona to take it all. Who did you pick?
Spanks for reading.
Cheers.

My final four is Arizona, Florida, Virginia and Duke, and my champion is my beloved Duke Blue Devils, but that is picking with my heart. If I had big money on it I would take Louisville to beat Duke again, to repeat as champs.

Interesting choices by you both, Nickk and Mikeyank. It pleases me we can find other things to chat about that still have scantly clad men running around, bouncing balls and dribbling before they shoot. Oh, they also do this on the court, too.

As I bragged on my Blue Devils, I must own up to their demoralizing defeat yesterday. Luckily I was driving during the game with no radio reception, so I did not have to suffer through the loss, but as the Roger McGuinn and his Byrds once sang "to Everything There Is a Season", and as winter turns to spring, and so my thoughts now turn to my other passion of baseball and my other love, the New York Yankees!

I'd kinda lost interest when Duke went down on Friday, but today while at the gym on the stairmaster, I watched the second half of a #2 seed Kansas going down to a #10 Stanford, coached by former Duke star and assistant coach, Johnny Dawkins, so I am reenergized and back into the tournament. Go Cardinal!!!

Oh, somewhere in this favored land
The sun is shining bright;
The band is playing somewhere,
And somewhere hearts are light,
And somewhere men are laughing,
And somewhere children shout;
But there is no joy in Kansas — Wichita State has just struck out.

NCAA Men's Basketball Championship: "I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."
