HD Coming March 31, 2010

Broke Straight Boys in HD is coming on March 31st. It has been quite a process moving to HD but we are finally there. Now you can enjoy new scenes, new guys all in HD. You are going to need a really good connection to stream HD. Some of you might have problems streaming HD so I would suggest downloading it instead. We also have some more stuff in the works.

Usually you right click the link and select save as and save it to your hard drive.

yeah i have to download it as well, but thats just because i have a crappy computer!

Then, ladies, real and ultra-real, post some suggestions for the best way to handle HD for those of us new to it. Perish the thought that we should be caught unprepared.

Well... I can stream pretty well from BCB in the HD format. It does take longer to get the full stream downloaded so that you can fast forward, rewind, etc. Whereas streaming on Broke Straight Boys takes me about 4 minutes and change to get the whole stream completed, on BCB's HD it takes about 8-10 minutes to get the full stream completed. But it still starts playing reasonably fast. 10-15 seconds or so. I'm sure individual computers will vary on all of this.

Mark, I know you and your (fantastic) crew and David and Eddie et al have been working very hard to get the HD out. Thanks so much for all of your (plural) hard work. Now I have to ask, is HD for High Definition or for

i never saw it, i actually saw it on the lists after i saw you congratulate dave on his grabby nomination which then led me to research it and i stumbled across a site selling it with a free pair of 3-d glasses. one of the grabbys it was nominated for was best comedy so its gotta be good!

Everything going forward will be in HD and updated 3X per week. Members will also have access to the non-HD episodes as well. 30 episodes in HD, there was some issue's as we had to get use to the HD camera and new lighting...members might not see anything, but here in production we have a keen eye for certain things. The quality should look or even better then BCB since we film in a studio with controlled lights.

Now we have the HD perfected and I must admit, I'm really impressed. Personally I don't think we had any issue's with our quality anyways...but once I started filming in HD and seeing the footage I filmed...Wow, what a difference I'm really sold and impressed with HD filming.
