I don't think so gentry. I think that it is the same reason that our newest Broke Straight Boys Casey Owens has been received so well, (even though he does not yet have a profile page, so he cannot be voted on yet in individual model ratings). And also Jake Spencer is rated so highly. Porn is different from other jobs where fair hiring practices apply and where hard work is rewarded. In porn, it is the God given pure physical attributes that are the biggest factors toward success, and both Adam and Johnny had that "It" factor that attracts audiences of gay porn performers. They were very special and in my opinion that is why they are perennial favorite in the member rankings.

It's been five and a half months since I last checked the Top Ten and here it is, with the notation in parenthesis of their ranking on my last checking on 8/8/19.

We have three newbies who were not yet introduced back on 8/8/19. As I always point out, it is much easier mathematically to get a higher percentage when there are less votes cast. And dropping out of the top 10 from last August are Ronan Kennedy who is currently #12 and Brandon Evans who is currently #12.

And as the older models may not have even been viewed by some of the newer members of the site, I congratulate the six of the twelve models I mntioned who have been around here the longest, Ben who started 2016, Tanner & Brandon from 2015, Johnny & Ronan Kennedy from 2014 and "the great" Adam Baer who started in 2012, (eight years ago). That's staying power !!!

I love stats and I love Broke Straight Boys for the great models over the years and the history of the site. While I may not always love all of the current models, I do love still having Broke Straight Boys a part of my life all these years later.

I've always enjoyed surveys and ratings going back to my teenage years listening to rock and roll radio and anxiously listening to the weekly surveys to see which songs went up or down on the survey, and beyond that to today following the weekly Top 25 NCAA Basketball rankings, so this is very much my thing.

By the way, it is no secret to how I find the ratings. Just click on "The Boys" on the top of the forum page and go to "All Boys". The default that appears on your screen is "Models - Arranged Newest To Oldest", however there is a sortable bar on this screen that says, "Sort By", and there are 16 categories to choose from including youngest, oldest, shoe size, cock size, and one of those categories is, "Highest Rated". Every model to ever appear on Broke Straight Boys is included with 22 pages each with 24 models. There is no "bottom 10" in the rankings but if you scroll through the pages the last page, (page 22), will give you that info and I just checked it for you. Starting with the lowest rated model, #514 is Mike Parker from 2013 with a 2.12 rating. The other nine are basically from the very early days of the site, some from before my join date in 2008. The only other fairly recent model in the bottom 10 is Miles Taylor from 2017 with a 2.47.

You can scroll through the pages to find where models that interest you are ranked and rated.

I so agree with your observations here Rep, variety is the spice of life and I must say my tastes are more
for guys like Cody, Calhoun and Ben Dover rather than the tweaks types. However saying that James and Richie West I do find attractive. Long may Broke Straight Boys have different types of guys on it.

With the talk about Landon this morning, I thought I would check the current Top 10. But I am going to expand it to Top 15 as the top three are all relative newbies, (as well as two others all introduced in the last six months) and it is much easier to get a high percentage with so many fewer votes. Of course statistics and numbers can be looked at many different ways. This is mine and obviously anyone else can analyse the numbers however they wish.

I didn’t actually give it a lot of thought Jay. I just looked through his scenes to find a couple of stills of him. And to be honest when watching a scene with Jake, Ethan Steel or a Tank Shane, my eyes are usually focused on my “crush” and not his partner but I will go back and rewatch Jake’s scene with Ricky. In fact I may do it later tonight.
