When during the chat part in the beginning......anyone agree?
Just a thought, I seem to think some are acting, the firstimers especially.

Personally, My first gay experiences were with friends between the ages of 7 and 9 growing up... I have always suspected most of these guys have messed around with another guy at some point in their life. Short of a lie detector test and drugging them with Sodium Pentothal or something all we have is their word. Besides, David says that he only uses models who may be bisexual with limited experience or straight guys who are willing to be openminded enough to explore. Therefore; according to the Kinsey scale most models would not be entirely straight from the door. However; they still identify with being straight.
Jayman01 is correct. As for the acting, I tell the models to be honest but get to the point when telling there stories. Its funny how sometimes when you point a camera and lights into someone's face how they change....many get very intimidated infront of the camera, especially if its there first time doing porn or getting themselves into this situation. I can only speak for Broke Straight Boys

Well aren't we all actors to some point?
I'm thinking the models are honest to a point, but it is part of their job to create an illusion. Face it, first time sex between people that don't know each other well can be clumsy and less than stellar. And it is the crew's job to polish that illusion.
I would guess that most of what we see is real, but edited and punched up a bit. Tyler already knew what was going on when he showed up in that jeep with Aiden. Nu had already signed disclaimers before David found him surfing at the beach. Dakota and Jacob may not have actually worked at 'Homo Depot.' And none of the boys really thought that they were supposed to be with a girl before David pulled a switcheroo. I am 90% sure that David would be removing chunks of his camera from his scalp if he was really as spontaneous as potrayed.
It is like going to Disney; you pay your money, you have a great time but you know that the crocodiles in the Jungle Boat cruise are not really going to eat you. Although last time I went, i would have loved to eat the tour guide!![]()
Are u the guy talking to the boys.....? If not who is that person

Your correct but at a certain point. Many of the stories you see are recreated from the actual momemt or experience.
For instant, when I met Tyler...it was at the car show...I didn't have my camera at the time...but I did speak to him and he was hanging out at the car show. When I told him that I was a producer and did adult porn..I didn't tell him that we did "gay" porn. I gave him my business card and told him if he's interested. I did ask his age because I thought he was around 14-15 years old...but when he spoke, we was very mature for his age...when I asked him his age...he told me 18 so I knew at that moment he was of legal age and then I proceeded to give him a business card. I told him how much money he can make...and he called me within the next few days. I then explained to him on the phone we are gay owned and operated...he was a bit hesitant about filming with other guys...but I told him we go slow and that we are very down to earth and we will respect his feelings and him as a person. He came to the studio for an interview...he realized we were not freaks and our office was very professional and he decided to do it. I figured it was great to film at the car show and do the set up at the car show where I originally met Tyler and worked it into the story drawing from the real meeting.
In most cases, the storylines are true but for "TV/WEB" we just re-create the scenerio based on true life meetings and experiences. Dakota and Jacob did work at home depot together, but they actually got fired the week before filming. I try to keep the base story real but at times I do "jazz" it up a bit to make it more interesting and entertaining. If a model comes in and states they need the money for gas, pay for car, rent, girlfriend and especially if they say they need it for school...those stories are true.
I hope that cleared some doubts in your minds.

Damn, well, what about the Pirates, or Tinkerbelle? Peter Pan? C'mon GL, help me out here!

I say go for it anything is possible in the land of make believe. Besides, do you have a clue how many guys I know that always told me they were straight. I always say, "that is OK I won't hold that against you... " LOL For some reason or another they wind up spending a night or two and their curiosity flares up.
On several occasions I've answered some nice boy's declaration "I'm straight!" with "don't apologize...."
That could be another great pick up line, in another thread! "That's ok, I won't hold it against you;...for long!"
LMAO
David, your posts like the one you made today, are far and away the best posts on this forum. You are the star of Broke Straight Boys or at least the co-star in each episode. You are the one interacting and directing the guys. As a huge fan of the site, to read your descriptions of what really goes on with you and the guys, enhances my experience viewing the episodes. I believe that you may have the "greatest job in the world", but you are so very qualified, as you know exactly how to talk to these guys to get them to preform to their maximum potential.Your correct but at a certain point.
