OK, I guess I found this thread on my own. Big boy. I'm trying to narrow down my 25 list to a 10 list. Maybe I'll compromise with 15.

1. As a child I did a Coke commercial with Ray Charles (before he switched to Diet Pepsi), and a Magnum PI commercial.

2. I dated a guy named Steve Miller, who WAS a midnight toker, but not in a band.

3. I convinced a college friend that Carol Burnett had contacted me to do a global benefit called "Tapdancing for Lepers" in Tierra del Fuego. She believed me for 6 months.

4. I fainted in sixth grade sex ed. during a slide show about chlamydia; Twenty years later, I contracted chlamydia.

5. I just finished writing my first book, called Hitchcock's Appetites. It should be in print before 2015.

6. I used to love Thai and Indian food with a passion, but now don't like it so much. My taste buds changed.

7. I had Bells Palsy and got to wear an eye patch for 3 months.

8. I had a one-night stand with the boyfriend of a That 70's Show actor.

9. I'm a white male. My online name on Television Without Pity for five years was Tylene, where everyone thought I was an angry black woman. I would get comments like, "Take It Easy, Tylene!"

10. I was busted for forging the name "Dolly Parton" on an add/drop slip in college.

Thanks for answering, Damien Kyle. That's awesome you're an Oz fan. I teach college film, and whenever I tell my students that I loved a show called Oz, they ask me if it's like The Wizard of Oz. I usually say, "No, it's like a soap opera, but with prison rape."
 
Can someone tell me how to put a pic in my profile? I swear I tried for about half an hour to make it work. For someone in academia, I'm a little bit of an idiot when it comes to technology.
 
Hey Kyle,

There are a few different ways to get to the editing features of your avatar photo. Next to the "New Posts" tab (at the bottom left of the Broke Straight Boys banner of the forum, there is the "Private Messages" tab. If you click on that, you'll see the "My Settings" to the left. You want to go to "Edit Avatar" to post an avatar photo that will show up on your posts. You can copy and paste a photo you have found online and then click "Save Changes". Or... You can save a picture to your computer and use the Browse function to find it in your own picture gallery. Once you save it and get it to show in the edit avatar box, then click Save Changes and it should successfully post. Or... You can click on one of the customized model fan photos and click on your choice in the circle on the bottom left of the pic and then click Go. And then I guess, "Save Changes"

I hope that helps you a little bit Fletch. If you're still not able to do it and have a more specific question in the process just let us know. :)

Damien, I liked Going Down in La La Land. Last year when I was in LA, I ended up in this guy's loft apartment downtown. He was really sweet, gracious and handsome--kept offering drinks until 4 am. And the next day a friend and I watched Going Down, and he was one of the stars of it! Weird coincidence.
