You could meet anyone who would it be???

Hmmm my choice would certainly be the late, great John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Perhaps we should travel through time together grace :)
if you could go back to a day in 1962, then perhaps could i get my mentor to introduce us both.

Although my past request of meeting all you guys in person is still at the top of my list and I will keep bringing it up until we actually do, i have made another decision on who to meet. #1 forumites #2 stephen king #3 robert deniro #4 neil diamond and #5 tiger woods. Oh this is pretty cool, in the early 80s I worked for microsoft for 3yrs and met bill gates and paul allen many times. matter of fact I beat paul at a company bbq ping-pong tourney at which he wasn't a gracious loser.

OMG! How could I forget how much I'd like to meet Stephen King!

I read this about Stephen King a long time ago, so I may have the facts muddled, but bear with me because it's worth reading if you're a Stephen King fan.

Stephen King enjoys walking around his home town, especially out of the town boundary on the little used hunters tracks. This day Stephen was out doing his walking thing, as a hunter was driving home with his dog (I think the dog's name was bullet) when the dog began trying to get in to the ice box where the fresh kill was chilling out. The driver turned around to scold the dog and ran his truck smack in to Stephen King...as you can imagine this resulted in a lot of broken bones.

In the article Stephen King was reciting the incident...when he regained consciousness he recalled he was lying on the road next to a dirty, disheveled man sitting on an ice box with a gun across his lap, accompanied by a blood splattered dog. The man looked Stephen straight in the eye and said 'It looks like you and me are having one hell of a shitty day.'

Poor Stephen thought he'd died, gone to hell and was destined to spend eternity as a character in one of his own books!

if i could meet anyone in the world, it would be Walt Disney for sure! hes a very intelligent man and followed his dreams. hes an inspiration and i think i could learn a thing or two from him

Good choice Carter! :)

Being greedy, I'm picking several:

1. Jesus - just in case I don't make it to Heaven

2. John F. Kennedy - who got me interested in politics and in a short time changed a nation and the world's view of it; I'd like to ask what he really intended to do about Viet Nam; There are a plethora of other questions I would ask him that, if I enumerated them, would extend this post ad infinitum so suffice it to say that I have been and will always be a JFK Democrat and proud of it. One question that I would ask and which he didn't have to face is: what would his views be on gay civil rights.

3. Queen Elizabeth II - because she is the epitome of class in a world that is becoming increasingly less so; because she has blended tradition and modernity in an elegant way in a world which usually deals with tradition by just doing away with it; and who knows more about politics and governing then most people who run governments. I would like to ask her about her Father and Mother, her views on the different troubled hot spots in the world; and finally, does she ever feel like knocking some sense into some of her grandchildren? I'd also want her to take me on a tour of Buckingham Palace; Windsor Castle (her favorite home); spend a long weekend in the summer with her and the family at Balmoral; and the Christmas holidays with her and the family at Sandringham (I think that's where they go for the holidays).

4. Pope John XXIII - the JFK of the Catholic Church. I would like to ask him if where the church is today is what he had in mind when he convened the Second Vatican Council? And if not, how would he have changed the course of that event and its aftermath.

I've always wanted to meet my father and hear his side of the story, then give him a good swift kick in the balls.

More realistically I'd like to meet Mitch McConnell and find out if he really is the total asshole I think he is. I'd like to find out what makes him so miserable in his personal life that he has to find someone to punish in his professional life. Maybe it would more interesting to talk to his wife, children and staff. He gives me the impression of a bully who only wants to fight and humiliate his opponent rather than reaching a solution that works for everyone.

I would have to say jessica alba. I really think she is so hot, and I would kill for a chance to get in her pants. I think I could do it to, I would play the vet card haha. So hot all I would need is 20 minutes!

I very much like to meet Pope Benny XVI, so I can kick his holy ass for his veto on the UN's call against crimes on GLBT/T people.
