Whereas another1 is the "keeper of the records" on Broke Straight Boys, little Johnny seems to be our resident expert on finding models on other sites, as it was Johnny

Given Damien Kyle's posts on fb and twitter, the impression can be drawn as to what might have occurred to cause this dis-engagement. I mean this was more than just a breakup. These guys planned to get married.
They will both survive this and move on eventually. I think it would be best if they stop all the public discussing of the matter and get the support they need from private talks with their friends. I hold good thoughts for them both.

Mark is running the Broke Straight Boys-TV show on this site beginning tomorrow night. I don't remember which episode it is in, but Damien gets into an argument with Damian Christopher where Damien Kyle says that he is not sexually attracted to black guys. Is that racism, or just personal preference? I am not sexually attracted to Asian men, but my college roommate back in 1968 was Chinese, and we are still buddies today, almost 50 years later. I don't consider myself a racist, because his naked body did not turn me on when we were 18, so why is Damien Kyle considered a racist?????

I agree it doesn't make him a racists!!! I don't date Latino's or Native Indians I'm just not attracted to them and that definitely doesn't make me racist.....

It's unfortunate (in my opinion) that this is still something that people interpreted incorrectly! I agree with both statements in that, we aren't all attracted to people of other races! It has to do with our attraction to people and has very little to do with ethnicity in this case. I speak for myself in saying that, I think Damian Christopher promoted the "race card" as, he probably was hurt personally that Damien Kyle wasn't attracted to him! LOL

I am attracted to guys who fit into narrow band of taste! Close inspection would reveal that that band has a strong northern european favor. It has a clear western mediterranean favor with some african favor. I am not sure if not including guys with different backgrounds is a function of race or a function of something else.
I think refusing to work with a model because you are not sexually attracted to black guys does raise the question of racism.

Paint it as you will. No surprises there. If it walks like a duck........They made the comments & they were unfortunate. We never LEARN & GROW if others make excuses for us when we've exhibited bad behavior. You can think they're Cute....And continue to drool & wish but .........Whats done is done. You know...Years back I was a HUGE Woody Allen Fan! Wouldn't miss a Film. And then he married his Current wife. I decided at that juncture that I couldn't support his work any longer. I .....like others out there felt that she was his DAUGHTER. The Law says that they are completely within the boundaries legally. I just can't make that jump & so I protest by not Buying tickets/ Watching. Once again.....Bad behavior should not be supported or encouraged. But to each his own.

And I think that's a fair statement "thejudge"! We may well see something differently from someone else, based on our own values or belief system, so as individuals we are free to decide what's acceptable behavior and what's not for US. When I worked in counseling, the one thing I used to hear a lot was, "We can still accept the individual without accepting their behaviors sometimes....." Of course, this was usually said about issues dealing with family members or people from which there was no "divorce".......But, it always made me think. I can like a person but I don't have to like or accept the behaviors exhibited by them. It's really up to me to decide what support I'm willing to continue give. I like your point.

I agree with Johnny and also enjoy hearing differing thoughts and opinions on this board from my own, as long as they are presented in a non confrontational manner. We all have a common bond of watching young masculine guys engaging in gay sex, and it's interesting to learn about each other and what we think and what turns us on. Thanks for the thought provoking post, the judge.

While it has become a rare happening (LOL) this is one of those occasions where I have read a comment by a member and it caused me to THINK, and re-evaluate my own beliefs or the way I state something on a public forum! While I've often said that "I'm not attracted to men of my own race or other black men," or any other men who have particular features, what I realize and should say is, " I have YET to meet a man with those particular features that I've been attracted to sexually".
As far as WORK: My job requires that I perform the tasks that fall within my Pay Grade. There are at least 5 other jobs that I can be assigned to perform. One of those jobs I don't care for at all! "I am not attracted to it," let's just say. Ordinarily, I can trade it off with someone else. Today is one of those rare occasions where there is no one else working that has the same job skill level with whom I can trade off. It's within my job description and I did volunteer to work! I'll suck it up and do the best job I can do as, I have been trained to do.
As a young model in this particular industry, Damien Kyle probably fell into a similar category. Ideally, being a model on a Broke Straight Boys site isn't about (necessarily) who you are attracted to? Theoretically, these guys aren't here because of their sexual attraction to other guys but here to perform....... He's a young man. Not always known for being articulate but, he is brutally honest. An attribute I still consider admirable in a person. And that's where I stand on this particular Thread!
