Sorry Andy, but the stories the models give us here and on other sites are just their personas. There may be things that are based on real events (things such as past drug abuse or difficult family issues) but the rest is pretty much a story. I'm not saying that none of the models are straight because I'm sure some are, but I won't automatically write this thing off as a fraud because Ronan never mentioned he had a boyfriend. I guess that's why I'm always astounded by those here who seemed convinced that they only hire straight guys. That's just no going to happen.

I try not to get too fazed by the fact that the internet personas the models give porn site members do not always match up with their real lives. I love Ronan Kennedy whether he is gay, straight, bi, try or whatever. That part doesn't matter to me at all when someone is hurting, grieving, in physical pain and is experiencing so much psychic trauma. When you see the paradigm of someone's whole world utterly collapse in front of them, it's incredibly painful to watch even as an outside observer. Especially so when (for many of us in here) it's someone you feel a strong connection to and really care about.

Hell... He could have very easily died! We've buried far too many models here on the site. We lost Dustin, Mike Robbins and at least one other that I know of. In fact, I think there are two others. But whatever. I would have been absolutely devastated to have lost Ronan Kennedy too. Retired from filming or not. It would have crushed me to have gotten the word that he was gone.

For the first time ever I have taken the plunge and made a donation on GFM to help Ronan Kennedy out. I can't afford very much. But hopefully it will help Ronan Kennedy towards groceries or whatever other financial need is most urgent and pressing for him at this time. The poor guy can't work full time and for the sake of his health and physical healing, he probably shouldn't be working at all for a couple more months at least. But a man's gotta do what he must to keep a roof over his head if there is little to no family resources to help out. I'm happy that his employer is willing to work with him and give him that one shift a week right now.

In my early 30's I pushed myself to go back to work too soon after a kidney transplant. I did have family support, love and help. They sustained me for several weeks. But they didn't have a lot themselves. I could no longer in good conscience continue to be a financial burden on them. So then it was crunch time. I know for a fact that I returned to work a full month too soon. It was hell for the first 2+ months of my return because I didn't have enough time to properly rest and heal. So I feel for Ronan Kennedy so much right now.

Of course that doesn't even begin to touch Ronan Kennedy's emotional pain. Ideally he would be able to get some professional counseling to help him sort out the cauldron of emotions and trauma he's going through. But again of course, that takes money. I know this may sound cliche' to many of you, but Ronan Kennedy will be in my thoughts and prayers

For those who think this is a scam, I found the police report and news coverage with a little bit of digging. But then I'm the internet detective snoop, or whatever it was someone called me here. Also, Ronan Kennedy has made his FB friends list invisible in the last 24 hours, undoubtedly for privacy, and perhaps because he is friends with other models' real-life pages with their real names... I was also directed to the original picture and then the Go Fund Me before the news broke here by a former Broke Straight Boys boy who did a scene with Ronan Kennedy. So, I'm thinking it's not a scam.

I just hope that as he requested, people do not take advantage of Ronan Kennedy's real identity being known here now and respect his privacy.

As for those disbelieving because the things Ronan Kennedy has said here not being the same as the details in the GfM, well pull your head out of the sand-- these guys are ACTORS on a porn site. They are playing roles, and here being straight (believably) is a big plus -- any model who can read and bothers to look in the forums will see that. And frankly, the personal REAL lives of the models -- sexual or otherwise -- is no business of any of us here.

And as for the GfM write up, itself, well, sadly, things like grammar and spelling are becoming lost arts, not only for the youth but with everyone. It gets the message and details across just fine, and would not be helped by incoherent delusional ramblings.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that kind of thought this didn't look right. I, too, searched everything I could find under the name given on the GFM page and found nothing that remotely looked like him.

Sha, could management please attempt to contact him directly and confirm this? Also, the GFM deal charges a fee for handling the collection of funds, or so I have been told, if it is true, is there a possibility of getting a direct way for us to donate directly to him without any amount being deducted?

If this is indeed our Ronan, I would be more than happy to contribute and to contact others in my area about doing the same.

I will not elaborate as it is not my place to do so, but this did indeed happen to Ronan Kennedy. I will check with our team for ideas of ways for those that want to donate directly.

Exactly Lee. Thank you Sha so much for giving us the confirmation that Ronan Kennedy's situation is unfortunately quite real.

We would never expect you to divulge any inside info, salacious details, "dirt" or other gossip about the situation which would only come at the expense of Ronan Kennedy's privacy and personal dignity. He has already been victimized horribly. Those of us who truly care about him and respect him would not go into debating gossip about his current circumstances and victimize him again in yet another way. The public record along with your personal confirmation that Ronan Kennedy's situation is legit is plenty enough to put our minds at ease on that point.

Now we still have to process the anger and sorrow we feel for Ronan Kennedy and the situation he's in. God bless him.

I just remembered that while I was a resident of Florida, they had a victim's compensation fund which helped victims with medical costs incurred as a result of a crime, and even emotional therapy to help the victim cope with what they had gone through.

I thought Minnesota may have the same program and found that they do.

Would someone please get this link to Ronan Kennedy, perhaps through Twitter (my account is suspended), and maybe this program could be of help to Ronan Kennedy's situation.
