Internet Explorer being phased out

I heard today that within the year internet explorer will be phased out by Microsoft. They will come up with something else first. I already use Google Chrome about 40% of the time. Ill just have to wait and see what they come up with.

I use Google too. I had been using IE for business purposes to keep my two lives separate. However, in the last 3-4 months IE has been working so slow I transferred all my business stuff to Google. That as left me a bit uncomfortable, so I will be anxious to see what Microsoft comes up with.

Google has a whole lot of what I consider to be "legal" spyware. I'm curious to see what Microsoft comes up with next. I have not been a fan of IE for a while. It's prone to many viruses. Sometimes I still long for the days of Windows XP. lol Each supposed improvement they've made since XP has been lacking in one way or another. I was so eager to upgrade to Windows Vista way back when. We all know how that worked out. haha

I am now on version 11. it was the first, then it was the best, and then it became another option. it was a fun ride!
