Hey everyone! Ian Dempsey Here!

I enjoy watching your video blogs each week Ian. I love the fact that you take some time each week to bring us closer into the life of a regular 18 year old kid, who lives at home with his family, (including the three dogs that we were introduced to yesterday), and that 18 year old kid happens to have a side job of doing gay porn. That really fascinates as well as titillates me.

Thanks for mentioning me at the end, when you are talking about newbie model Cage Kafig. You also mentioned your feelings about some of the more "entitled" acting models that you've met at "the mansion". I commented on that in the Cage Kafig thread where you brought it up again.

You did tell us that you are a part of the Broke Straight Boys TV show, which is interesting as Mark has not publically revealed the cast, but I was checking out Paul on Twitter a few days ago, and I think that he will be on the show too.

I have a question, which you might answer here or on next week's blog. You talked about your best friend Rhett, and also mentioned another guy, Eli, I think, who you said when you got drunk, you played with his ear lobe for a while until you fell asleep. Are Eli and Rhett among your friends who know that you are a model on Broke Straight Boys? You indicated that you have a group of friends who hang out with you on weekends where you drink in the basement. How many of them know? If not, do you "make up" a place that you go to when you are away at the Broke Straight Boys Mansion to work on the TV show and the site?

Again I am really curious what it is like to live the straight life in suburbia with family and friends and also moonlight doing what you do here. Thanks Ian. You are a cool dude for sharing with us as you do.

Michael,

I don't really know why I said Michael... I just feel like being more formal with first names sometimes. If ever my friends have names that are short for their actual full names, I generally call them by their full name. For example, my friend, Katie. I always call her Katherine. She always smiles because it's just something I do. BACK TO WHAT I WANTED TO TALK ABOUT!!

I am not a cast member of the TV show. I visited the house the night of the party just to socialize, they did shoot me, for like a minute, and I doubt they will use it. It was the only time I was at the house while they were filming.

In regards to my friends, some of them know about what I do. Quite a few actually. However no one in my close group of friends that I hang out with almost every weekend with, know about Broke Straight Boys I have not decided if I want to tell them or not. Im in a place right now where I care more about the friendships then I do about telling them. Because I know if I do tell them, things wont be the same. They will be different around me and possibly feel uncomfortable. I understand this, which is why I don't want to tell them right now. And I know my friends who do know won't tell any of them because they never speak to one another. You see, I was adopted by the social "elite" my senior year and was taught the ways of the popular kids. Most of my friends I hang out with on a regular basis now, were the "elite." Not that I consider my friends who weren't popular to be any less of my friends, but they just don't mingle with each other.

What do I tell my friends I'm doing when I go off to do gay porn? I tell them I work with a modeling agency, that I help photograph and get equipment set up. Stuff like that. I found that if you're going to lie about something you're doing, especially when it's about something like this, you make it as close to the truth as possible. That way there is less of a chance that you will trip up and lose track of what you have been saying. I can say I work with a modeling agency, because basically, that's what this is. They just don't know the extent of what I or the "agency" do.

I hope this answers your questions, Mike.

Thanks Ian. I really appreciate your answering my question, as when I get into a model on Broke Straight Boys, I've often thought of what it must be like for a young guy your age to have both a life back home with friends and family, and a life in the Broke Straight Boys studio doing what you do.

I totally understand your wanting to keep both lives separate, however in today's world, I would have to think that it is inevitable that someone who may not necessarily be a member of this site, but perhaps a guy or a girl from your neighborhood or old school, will be searching the net and see your image and recognize you. I hope that when or if this happens it does not cause a major upheaval in your life.

Thanks again for your being as honest as possible with us, your fans on Broke Straight Boys! Looking forward to seeing you again next Tuesday!

BTW Ian,

I meant to mention that I think your St. Bernards are just beautiful. I'm not sure if I have ever seen any in real life. Only on T.V. Thank you for letting us see all 3 of your dogs. I agree with you though that dog hair all over the place can get pretty annoying. haha

Drumroll please... LOL :)

Actually it's only minutes away. It airs at 8:00 your time in CO. :)

Ian, I just want you to know that I enjoy your work and love reading your comments. You are a breath of fresh air here and I really appreciate that.

Thanks Ian for posting #5 vlog for us; it may feel weird, but we do like weird. Holy shit, I can't believe you broke up a week after having sex for the first time!hahaha As far as drinking, my daughter was very young when she graduated high school; hell I think she was born an "old soul." So, Steve and I would stay at a hotel for the weekend and she could have everyone over for "drinkovers." The rule was you couldn't leave until you were sober and you had to clean up after yourself...yes, and change the sheets. You might want to talk to your parents about doing something like this; to us, it's a "win, win."
Okay, now for questions:
1. Do you/would you help Damian with the photo-shoots for the Broke Straight Boys scenes?
2. You're planning the perfect date, what do you guys do?
3. Do you watch a lot of YouTube? Who is your favorite YouTuber?

Thanks Ian. I do enjoy all that you do for us.

Hi Ian,
Well, I just realized that the question I posted rather late (i.e., probably after your cut-off for culling that week's questions) didn't get answered so I'll post it again because I thought it was something you would have fun with.

(originally posted 9/30/13)...I feel a real need to come up with questions that get your creative juices flowing when deciding how to answer.

You are given $50,000.00 to make a 30-minute porn film. You can be in it and/or direct it or hire someone to direct and be the director of photography. You can write it, have it basically unscripted or buy a script of your choice. It can be any kind of porn that floats your boat. You decide how much everyone else involved in the production is paid and when it's all over and delivered to your $50K-giving benefactor, whatever money is left is your fee.

What does the resulting film look like (soft core erotica, straight, gay, fetish, gonzo, film parody or something else? Are you in it or off-camera?) and how much cash are you left with for yourself after you spend what you feel you need to in order to make the artistic adult film of your dreams?

Hey Ian,

Who have been some of the models whom you've enjoyed working with the most so far? And why?

Thanks! :)

Oh yeah, I forgot to comment, I love Fireball! I do hope you keep it in the freezer; it's so good cold...yum.

Thank you all for continuing to ask questions, they all rock and I'm excited to talk about them. I apologize but I will not be able to have a video for you tonight. I have been super busy all day with scenes and swim lessons. Wednesday is my day off, all I have to do is help Paul pick up a mattress for his new place and I can work on the video for you guys :)

Oh hell Ian, we understand. I mean helping Paul get a mattress is more important...you might want to pick up some knee pads for the girls as well; just sayin;:001_tongue:

Thank You Ian for the updated time frame. You are always allowed a life. We are privileged that you do them for us at all, since they are a gift and certainly not an obligation. Whenever you do share them with us they are always worth the wait. :)
