Hey everyone! Ian Dempsey Here!

I agree with you. Ian is doing videos out of his own time and I never told him to do videos. It is awesome that he is doing videos and rare. He needs to hear some positive things or else he may not do them anymore. :(

We do appreciate Ian doing this videos Mark. The point i brought up was that it was rather dangerous him doing it whilst driving. I cannot comment on what other's thought of it but if I was a parent I wouldn't be happy if a person knocked down my kid because he wasn't concentrating on driving. End of.

You know saying positive things to models goes a long way to them staying and feeling appreciated. Even the site owner doesn't see the point in picking apart what Ian did considering he did this on his own time.

I give up with you, you certainly are confused. Maybe if a member of your family was maimed or killed by a driver who wasn't giving his or her full concentration to driving, you may change your mind. I simply picked up this fact but you are determined to make this small point into a war.

I think it's a wonderful gift that Ian gives us with these video blogs. It takes a lot of time, effort and thought to put these together. I'm sure it's stressful to do essentially a monologue. Many people wouldn't even attempt it because it would be so intimidating to them.

Thank you Ian for doing these. It is our privilege to get to know you better as a real person. Please keep doing these videos for as long as your schedule permits. You personally and the blogs themselves are appreciated very much by so many of us in here. More than you may know just yet. There are many people who read the forum but never comment. So there is another "invisible" audience you are reaching (who are fans of yours and appreciate you immensely) beyond just those who post.

Big hugs! xoo

I don't see why being in your house necessarily prevents you from killing children. They can be so annoying, after all.

Also, as always, that was a lot of fun to watch. I watched Miley Cyrus on SNL this week too and I was surprised (shocked really) at how well she did all around.

Hey Ian,
Thanks for responding to the questions; yes, I am very random and my questions can "go deep" very quickly.:001_tongue:

Here are some possibilities for next Tuesday:
1. I would like you to add a photo a week to your updates. Either one you have taken or one you appreciate. Please let us know what it is about the picture that caught your eye or a techniques that you used.
2. Will you talk about your "first time?" Are you still in touch with the girl/fuck buddy?
3. Do you like animals; what is your favorite? Do you have animals at home? Will you talk about the "crazy" dogs at Mark's house; in the BTS, they always seem very hyper.
4. In reference to Declyn's thread about your "thirst" for Starbucks, what is your favorite drink there?

Thanks for sharing; it must seem strange to reflect on us "peering" into your life, but it is very interesting and as an older person, very refreshing to see "the youth of today." Kudos, Beth

Ian naked for BSB.jpgJust in case you are wondering if "social media" is worth keeping up with....this is on Broke Straight Boys's Facebook page

Another question for this week's blog:

Thinking about one (or more) of your close friends, what's your favorite thing about them?

Hey Ian,

If your obit was written today...What is the best thing your family or friends could say about you (either by sharing a story of something you did or a more general description) that would make you happiest to be remembered by?

Assuming of course that they were trying to describe you to people who didn't know you at all.

As usual, loved Ian's weekly post...but to be perfectly honest, my favorite part was these screencaps that appeared as it ended - screencaps of the six clips that YouTube auto-suggested I watch next.

From the weblog of a young gay-for-pay porn star to...kitties, bunnies and political debates, what looks like an "opposite" wedding, football and some sort of stadium by a river...but of course!

I enjoy watching your video blogs each week Ian. I love the fact that you take some time each week to bring us closer into the life of a regular 18 year old kid, who lives at home with his family, (including the three dogs that we were introduced to yesterday), and that 18 year old kid happens to have a side job of doing gay porn. That really fascinates as well as titillates me.

Thanks for mentioning me at the end, when you are talking about newbie model Cage Kafig. You also mentioned your feelings about some of the more "entitled" acting models that you've met at "the mansion". I commented on that in the Cage Kafig thread where you brought it up again.

You did tell us that you are a part of the BSB TV, which is interesting as Mark has not publically revealed the cast, but I was checking out Paul on Twitter a few days ago, and I think that he will be on the show too.

I have a question, which you might answer here or on next week's blog. You talked about your best friend Rhett, and also mentioned another guy, Eli, I think, who you said when you got drunk, you played with his ear lobe for a while until you fell asleep. Are Eli and Rhett among your friends who know that you are a model on Broke Straight Boys? You indicated that you have a group of friends who hang out with you on weekends where you drink in the basement. How many of them know? If not, do you "make up" a place that you go to when you are away at the Broke Straight Boys Mansion to work on the TV show and the site?

Again I am really curious what it is like to live the straight life in suburbia with family and friends and also moonlight doing what you do here. Thanks Ian. You are a cool dude for sharing with us as you do.

Aspen_9.jpg
Sorry that the picture didn't make it up right after the video, Beth. This photo was taken on my way up to Aspen a couple weeks ago with Mark. It was an awesome trip, hahaha, it took us like 5 and a half hours to get there because we kept pulling off to take pictures. Aspen is soo beautiful in the fall when all the trees begin to change, and that was actually my first time going to Aspen, so the entire time I was just taken away by how amazing everything was. I used this trip as a challenge for myself, I usually don't photograph landscapes, I'm more of a people person, but I wanted to try and capture just how immense everything was. So I tried taking zoomed out photos of the hills, just trying to get everything to fit within the frame. This particular photo I took as a portrait because I wanted to focus on how high the trees went up, and not how much area they covered. It was really amazing to see that much snow all just from the night before.

Have you guys seen those commercials for the new Windows phone? The Nokia Lumia 1020? Well I took with me my fancy red Nikon D3100 with all kinds of different lenses, but I maybe took 15 photos with it. The rest of the photos, including this one was shot with the Lumia 1020. I was phenomenal how it captured all the colors so vibrantly and picked up every little detail. I actually ended up making Mark very jealous with my phone. He kept saying that it took amazing photos and how he couldn't even compare it with his iPhone. "It's like comparing VHS to Blue-Ray," he said. I'm actually going to make a new thread to discuss further the impressive power of the Lumia. But I had a great time and I got some amazing pictures along the way

Beautiful photo; I love the shades of blue and purple that show up in the shadows. Did you ever think about taking the photo horizontal? Why/why not?
I have shared with a bunch of you that Alaska is my favorite place; like it shows in your picture, the feeling of vast space is what I like most about the place. Steve says I am quieter when we go there, just shooting tons of photos.
Thanks for sharing Ian.

i Am Loving These Videos! Hahaha Im About To Start Posting Some :)

Hey Ian!

Thanks so much for answering my question in the vid. I agree that it's kind of a "weird" question. But on the other hand, the questions that are more open-ended are usually more revealing as to how a person views the world. We appreciate you doing the video blogs. :)
