My most sincere and deepest hope is that this man is indicted for crimes committed through his businesses, given some jail time, and financially ruined. His arrogance and delusion are beyond belief. He is taking a victory lap for something he really did not accomplish at all, although he may have been president while portions of it started. The Pfizer vaccine was developed completely independent from any financial or logistical assistance by the United States. The Moderna vaccine was the result of a grant the company had received from the NIH prior to the COVID outbreak to study the use of RNA-based vaccines on coronaviruses. They had been researching for several years and done a lot of legwork that allowed them to jump right on top of the COVID virus and start on a vaccine. J&J did receive money from the government to assist their research.

Just as mobster and murderer Al Capone was actually sent to prison for tax evasion, hopefully Trump will end up either behind bars or left impoverished (or both) due to his financial crimes. Trump's crimes against humanity will become the stuff of historical shame and infamy. The inept non-response to the Covid epidemic, the state-sponsored kidnapping and imprisonment of minor children and babies at the southern borders... The list goes on.

I'm a big believer in karma. So I don't necessarily care which form the universe decides upon for his comeuppance to take, as long as he ends up paying some kind of steep price for all his misdeeds. I also hope that I will live to see it play out in this lifetime. But we know how greedy and money grubbing he is. So even a large partial loss of his fortune would wound his pride and ego deeply.

As you've alluded to here Trump could have taken on the mantle of a true leader at a time of world and national crisis. For great men of history this moment was tailor made for some Churchillian figure to rise and take on this crisis with bravery, a keen intellect, skill and great urgency. Instead Trump was a mental midget who was too petty and too small a man to ever rise to such a challenge.

He bragged of being a "wartime president" at the onset of Covid while seemingly moments later waving the white flag of surrender and telling the governors to figure it all out for themselves. Pathetic. Thousands more have died and will die, than ever needed to.

They have put up a notice in my city saying they are starting vaccine appointments for citizens to get the J&J vaccine at the nearby city hall. But as of yet I have not met anyone personally who I know for sure has gotten the J&J one. I'm pretty sure I saw another blip on tv about a federal vaccination site in the Tampa Bay area that was distributing the J&J one-time dose. It was at a site with a huge parking lot where they could give the people the shot while still seated in their cars. One woman being interviewed afterwards by local news broke down in tears. (While still wearing a mask.) She said she did not expect to become emotional over it. But she was so happy and relieved that with that one shot (plus a two week wait) that she could finally start looking to the future again.

There is a guy at my job who had the Johnson & Johnson a week ago Tuesday and he said he felt fine. I saw him again yesterday, nine days later and he had nothing further to say about it. I happened to get the Pfizer shot. I didn’t ask in advance and found out when I got to the site. It is my belief that we should all get the first one that is available to us. They all basically offer similar protection against serious illness or death.

I happened to get the Pfizer shot. I didn’t ask in advance and found out when I got to the site. It is my belief that we should all get the first one that is available to us. I had my first dose of Moderna on February 16th and my second dose on March 16th. No negative reaction at all to either shot. I get my full immunity next Tuesday.

Yeah, I hear what you’re saying. I won’t wait on the J & J more than a couple of weeks before I just go for whatever. My city just opened up to all age groups yesterday, so before that it was only 65 and over. I’m pretty hardcore with the social distancing tho. In the past year, I have only left my home to go grocery shopping or to a drive thru for food. I haven’t been to the gym, a movie, a restaurant, church, family gatherings for the holidays. I haven’t been anywhere.
Now you know why I start scene threads :30 seconds after the scene is released. I’m at home doing nothing.
I thought I had the virus a month ago because I got sick for a few days, but I went last week to check for antibodies and it was negative. So here I am, waiting for this new scene to be released..LOL.

Seriously, I literally cried reading this. You don’t know how much I long for human touch. While I’m a huge loud mouth on here, I’m 4 months sober in a few weeks, and I’ve literally changed into an introvert. You’re completely right. I need some dick, and some good dick. LOL. But seriously, I am completely lonely.

A married couple I know received it and neither experienced any issues with it other than a little tenderness at the injection site which passed in around 24 hours. I have had the first Moderna shot and receive the second shot next week. The first shot gave me a sore arm where they injected me and I was a bit fatigued that evening. I took a couple of Tylenol and went to bed. The next day I felt fine. My neighbor had the Pfizer shot and he had no reaction whatsoever. His 86-year old mother had the same shot and she complained of feeling achey for a day.

Way to go Jay! And I just got back from Walgreens. I got my second Pfizer shot! And the age to qualify just went down to thirty in New York. We are so close to being where we need to be....but in some places with some people still so far....

Yeah our age went down from 65+ to everyone above the age of 16 last Thursday. It’s just been hard to get a time slot.

My Dad had J&J, no issues except for a sore arm for 24 hours. I had my first Moderna shot 2 weeks ago and it felt like I was sucker punched in my arm for 36 hours, then just an ache for a day. Very tired for a day too.
