I love Romeo he has a great smile and his body is terrific. I usually think Ayden is extremely aloof in his scenes but he seemed totally engaged here and that made it very engaging for me
Excellent points Kelly. This was the happiest and most engaged in a scene that I've seen Ayden before. I think he clearly enjoyed the cheesiness and absurdity of it all. It was nice to see him laughing and smiling so much in the outtakes.
I always enjoy seeing Ayden, and while I am a fan of guys with longer hair, I do understand that Ayden only comes to the
Broke Straight Boys studio for a day or two at a time, and must live the rest of his life as a real guy, where he may prefer the short hair perhaps for his job, or to suit his girlfriend,
Well Mikey, I look at the same set of circumstances and draw a different conclusion. I believe that Ayden is probably signed to contract. But even if he's not...look at what you've just said. (This applies to ALL models by the way. Not just Ayden. But I'll just use him for an example here.) He only has to come to the studio "for a day or two...[or three] at a time." But... In those 2-3 days he's being paid a BUNCH of money. More than he'll make in a couple months at a part-time minimum wage job. And he's being paid a bunch of money based on his body appearance and his talent.
After those two or three days are over with, he is welcome to do whatever he wants with his appearance. If he wants to shave his head, get a Mohawk, paint his fingernails black...he can have at it. As long as when he is called back next time for more high paying work, that his physical appearance is not drastically different from what the fans and mgmt of the site have come to expect from him.
He was hired and gained popularity for his looks. Part of those looks included an almost trademark head of beautiful long blond curly hair. He probably did need to cut it short-er for a job outside of
Broke Straight Boys That's fine. But as far as more drastic changes (like shaving it all off) that should be left for in-between shoots. Not during the course of the shoots.
I feel that for the kind of money these guys are making, plus the free travel and the use of a mansion...that they should prioritize their appearance around the timing of their shoots. Not giving sole priority to how they want their appearance to be on the whims of their daily lives and then showing up on set looking any which way.
A professional commercial fashion model hired to sell a product would never be allowed to just show up on at a photo shoot with a short pixie haircut (because she just decided she wanted a change) when the customer who hired her was expecting her usual long-flowing brunette hair. No more than she would go out and get a bunch of tattoos, or lip and nose piercings...or knowing that she had a photo shoot coming up soon...and then show up with a blistering red sunburn. It wouldn't happen because it wouldn't fly. A model like Jason would know better than to show up on set with a Prince Albert piercing on his dong and expect everyone to love it and be okay with it.
Ayden's and even Johnny's hairstyle doesn't rise to those more drastic examples of course. But still I think they should grow their hair prior to their next call-ups and then shave their hair
after all their on camera work is done, if that's how they want to wear it at home. Again this is a business where all the models are getting the work and the money based on their appearance, talent and the amount of adoration they receive from fans.
