Found a few moments to come up with some random facts. Thanks for the bumps!

1. I’m a 33-year-old (when did that happen?), 5’10” brunette and yeah, I kinda look like my profile pic.
2. I swear like a trooper. I smoke like a trooper. Maybe I should be a trooper…….maybe I AM a trooper! What the fuck is a trooper?
Now the word looks weird cos I’ve looked at it too long.
3. I have a terrible short term memory.
4. I’m English, so I spend vast amounts of time sitting in pubs and drinking. Just drinking.
5. I’m recently married to my partner of 14 years. We still party together. We still laugh together every day.
6. I have a thing for young, curly-haired lads with northern (England) accents. My husband doesn’t mind me leering at lads when
we’re out and about cos he knows I’m imagining them fucking each other (quick pause for some quiet time.....)
7. I like humour with no filter whatsoever and will take the piss out of anything.
8. I have a terrible short term memory.
9. I’ve never met anyone who could roll a joint as beautifully as I can.
10. I’m massively into film, especially European arthouse and queer cinema. I’ve watched over 200 films this year. I don’t know many
people with the same tastes as me, so if anyone’s ever up for shooting the shit about film, I’d be deliriously happy to hear from you!

LOL I could never roll a joint, all my friends would laugh at me because they looked so terrible and would burn up too quickly. I have a lot of respect for someone who can roll it thick and tight.

I just finished watching season 8 of Shameless and I developed a thing for those bad manchester boys. Is that what you'd call a scally lad? Woof Woof

Wouldn't it be nice if Broke Straight Boys took a trip to the UK and gave some of those lads a chance to earn some cash?

It's not a big stretch but I love gay movies and I watch as many foreign ones that I can find, although it's hard to read the subtitles and look at the naughty bits at the same time. I like the freedom I see in foreign movies, they aren't so uptight about nudity and language.

Welcome Melodility, congrats on your recent marriage, and you're right laughter is vital for a partnership to be successful. I've never heard of a sense of humor being being described as unfiltered before, but I think it's a great way to view the world and just reading your description made me laugh

And a little response to your post - I'm a very live-and-let-live kinda gal. If religion is your kinda thing, great, just not at my dinner table. Unless its the subject of a particularly offensive joke. I'm allowed to say that, I went to a Roman Catholic convent school - I know all about guilt and navy A-line skirts!!! Anyway, a very close friend is a beautiful, intelligent, modern Christian girl with a fantastic relationship with God. She said to me recently - "Jesus loves everyone. He just wants you to be happy. If you're happy, he's happy". I thought that was really nice. My point being - the church is one thing and your faith is another. Don't let the former fuck with the latter.

I’m a wino on the day-to-day (just the essentials : milk, bread, coffee, red wine), vodka/dark rum (like an old sailor boy) on weekends, champagne on occasions, caipirinhas from a cocktail list and margaritas when I want to get hammered.

Have recently discovered tequila as a sip drink. After the initial shock, it’s really tasty but the husband does tend to have to carry me home after……….

This doesn’t mean I have an alcohol problem. No really. I could list my favourite foods all in one go, doesn’t mean I eat them all every day……….

Thanks for the welcome Jon! Am I right that you're the stickler for proper usage of language? I'm the same - text speak makes me cringe. I've just started studying linguistics and its fascinating. I've always tried to hide my Estuary English accent because I believe it sounds uneducated, so it was something of a revelation to accept that my choice of language conveys my intelligence, not the way in which I pronounce it.

No problems here, either. Of course sometimes when I mix my margaritas (Patron Silver and Patron Citronge) I tend not to use a shot glass. This only becomes a problem if I were to get on chatroo.....nevermind.

It just means that I like my humour offensive. Political correctness is so DULL. There's an anecdote in here - I took my Dad to a seminar by the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) and the speaker was talking about why they rated a stand-up comedian's DVD as an 18 (certificate X). There followed an excruciating 5-minute clip of Jim Jeffries, the Australian comedian, delivering his WET CUNT/DRY CUNT joke. Its really hard to stifle your laughter (it was a hilarious joke) and cringe at the word CUUUUUUUNT being repeated over and over again in your father's presence.

Melodility Elliot tittensor who played Carl grew up to be quite a handsome stud. There wasn't as much nudity in the later seasons as there was in the earlier ones. Game of Thrones isn't available to me but I'll keep an eye out for it thanks.
