10 random facts about you.

Patience grasshopper. lol

I highly doubt that any of these people accomplished all of this before the age of 23. Or even 33. haha Most of them had to get established later in adulthood to be able to afford to take vacation time and go to all these far-flung locales. With your drive and ambition to experience all these things, I'm sure that you will gleefully check them off your list as time goes on. :001_smile:

:) over spring break if the pass is open, im suppose to go to one of the highest roads in colorado, where the clouds are actually below the mountain top!
Check Off, being onto of the clouds to watch the sun set.

it was luck that brought me to la paz.
we were given a vw van, that need a little work.
my friend's wife had land dead center of eclipse.
so what the hell we went for it. from the mexican border to the tip of bala california.
along the way, we went to the sea of cortez, where the water was bathtub warm.
i write these things because you seem to want to read them. i have always like to try things three times. the first to see if i like it. the second to see if the first time was a fluke. and a third to be sure.
hell at a certain time, gloating about the spectacular events that they have got to witness is all that is left. may your life be filled with things to gloat about.

You did have a camera? or did not? because im sure that mark and i would be dying to see something that spectacular!

Blake,

I mis-typed. I did not have a camera for those water spouts. I did have it for the eclipses and had two of them published.

I agree it is great to have you back posting. :)

Tequila69 and Mark,

I have always been here, but sometimes I don't have the free time to get on line. I am involved in a lot of activities so it comes down to budget time to do all the things I'd like to. So from time to time I can catch up.

Thanks again for the welcome back.

:crying2:
Why is everyone gloating about the spectacular events that they have got to witness! Grr...

You are lucky, the only full eclipse i ever saw a full Lunar Eclipse. and i have seen a 3quarters solar eclipse. but i was young.

Blake,

If you want to see an eclipse you can always travel to the panhandle of Texas this coming May and see a setting eclipse sun. Now this is an annular eclipse. The moon will not completely cover the disk of the sun and you will see a ring of fire (aka: the sun) all around the moon.

Or you and Mark, and anyone else for that matter, can join me in Utah where I hope to be on the Center line of the eclipse. I have the general area I want to view it. I hope to scout out the area to insure it works. I'll keep the forum posted if there is interest.

Hi Norway,
Your 10 Randoms are great. I also love reading, I always have a book stashed somewhere, and sometimes don't put one down until I am done with it. Sci fi is my favorite, What's your's?

30 is actually great. 35 was the one I didn't like.........

Mikeyank is from New York, so maybe he can fill you in, on all the cool places to go, while you visit. But, be warned, the first place he will tell you to go is Yankee Stadium.:bored:

Nice facts fanfromnorway! With #5, do you like the original British version or the American version? I preferred the British version, Charlie Hunnam is so gorgeous; he is now in the American show "Sons of Anarchy."

hi.

I love to read criminal novels, but lately i have startet to read more drama novels. the last book i read was "The Help".. it have also been made into a movie. i can recomend them both.

I am traveling with a friend who likes sport so we actualy planned to go to the stadium. lol.
I dont know if there is any games that are playing. that would be cool if it was!!

Beth, i would have to dissagre with you on that one, i did not care for the UK version.. and the guys in the US version was sooo much hotter. :blushing:

hugs and kisses.

Actually Ms. K, having lived here my whole life I am not the best person to make suggestions for tourists. Whenever I have out of town visitors, I tend to take them to the traditional tourist spots, as I am proud of my city and want to show off stuff like The Brooklyn Bridge, The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty. I think that Central Park is amazing, and Broadway at night, all lit up still gives me chills.

But in recent years due to my current job, I have discovered the architectureal and natural beauty in parts of the city I had never been to before, like Harlem and Washington Heights in uptown Manhattan.

I am sure that Norway will have a wonderful time, whatever she does here. As the song goes, "I Love New York".

And by the way, if you have the inclination and some extra money, Yankee Stadium is awesome too. :welcome:

Great start FFN!

I too am an avid reader. I sued to be very impatient til I started carrying a paperback with me to read. Now, I look forward to having to wait in line so I can catch up on my reading. I read about 3 books at the same time, keeping one book in different places, like one in my car. My favorite is SCI-FI, but am open to any well written story, including porn, lol. Speaking of, I invite you to read stories I have posted in the thread, "Tales of Lust and Seduction."

I worked for 35 years in health care and loved my job. I now teach that in a university and am enjoying that as well, specially teaching clinicals in the hospital.

I watched the first 2 or 3 seasons of QAF until I felt it was losing its edge. I was very pleased how realistically they portrayed gay life. However, I still long to see a gay series that will not just show the sexual and tawdry side of gay life, but that will show how gay men and women can be as equally productive and accomplished as anyone in a straight society. Still, it was entertaining and the guys were hot.

I too like my men younger, much younger. But let me be clear, I don't do kids, and as much as I love my porn, I find it disgusting when used with children. There is not need to involve children in our perversions, there are too many young willing adults! I often refer to the models here as boys, and I talk about my exploits with boys, but to me, boys are young men between 20 and 25 years of age. But enough of me!

I dream of traveling to Norway one day. I have always fantasized about spending time there. It looks so deliciously cold! I too hope you will share some pictures of your land with us.

hi,

i just have to say that i find the people in this forum very dedicated and friendly.

I have been to your beautiful city before, mikeyank , and i loved it. I was planing on beeing a litte more daring this time. I find that sometimes when you are travelling some of the best times you have is when you go with the flow.. that said, i like to have some structure.

After reading a bit more on the site, i also have gotten the impression that you can be really open here.. but i guess im a bit sky:blushing:

hugs and kisses

(ps I hope my grammar and spelling isnt too bad)

You English is very good FfN. Don't let any worry over spelling or grammar discourage you from writing or participating.

If you like the American actors, then you might like "The Secret Circle." Gale Harold plays a father in the show,

There are several new folks here on the forum, so I thought I'd try and revive this thread so we cAN get to know more about our new forumites.
