I couldn’t agree more ShadowCat. And believe it or not, this forum has been around since 2008 and it used to be well organized into three separate forums, one regarding site related porn, one for the models to interact with us, and one for non-porn related content.
I’m still not sure why Mark jumbled everything into one forum. All of the old content is still here, but to me, it made so much more sense the old way. But it is cool to have you as a new poster ShadowCat. Hopefully you can muddle your way through the jumble that is the forum today, and become a regular contributor. We sure need some new voices.
For those of us homebound our cards are the only means to make payments. Master Cards has a new policy of blocking first or one time purchases over the phone or online. I understand why but the process of getting a purchase is now time consuming & tedious. It took me at least an hour to get the purposed purchase approved & now a wait of a minimum of two hours. Last time it happened, I had to go through the process twice.

I understand the part about having to enter credentials to log into the site. And then if you're new to the forum, having to enter different credentials to get into the forum. But I've never had to double enter forum credentials to post to individual threads. If that's what you're saying you had to do, then I'm stumped on the cause of that also. Of course when you put in credentials for the forum you want to be sure to click the "Remember Me" tab. Otherwise you have to enter credentials every single time you enter the forum.
Broke Straight Boys owns JustUsBoys. So I'm not sure why the mechanics of it would work differently between the two sites.

When I got on the new desk top I had to get a new password to enter & now on my lap top I can't enter on it.
Of late I am having problems trying to use my desktop Forum password on my laptops. They do not accept it despite the fact it is the same. After much time when I had to reset the password on the desk top to the same word it has always been the laptops stubbornly refused to accept it. So I just deleted the Forum from my laptops. All 3 have Win 10 although the laptops have Firefox as browsers & desk top Chrome.

As for the forum I combined them back in the day because it just wasn't busy enough to warrant 2 separate areas. If it was busy enough it would make more sense. It wouldn't be that hard to go back to this but I am not sure that is for the best.

This may seem like a stretch but here goes……..I was watching Morning Joe earlier and they were discussing the new proposed law on the age of being able to purchase a gun. It was brought up how the typical profile of a violent mass shooter is a young man between 17 - 23 or so and they discussed how a young man’s brain doesn’t fully develop until age 25. Joe then spoke about how when he covered the commemoration of Normandy several years ago, upon talking to the surviving soldiers in their seventies and eighties, he asked how they were able to go into combat knowing their chances of being killed were so high. And many told him that they didn’t think about it and that in retrospect, they couldn’t have done it when they were older. And as we all know soldiers are often int heir teens and early twenties.
I found this online about the development of the young male brain:
“The development and maturation of the prefrontal cortex occurs primarily during adolescence and is fully accomplished at the age of 25 years. The development of the prefrontal cortex is very important for complex behavioral performance, as this region of the brain helps accomplish executive brain functions”.

And so this is how my mind works. First I thought about young athletes and how in both high school and college a coach can get them to figuratively “run through a brick wall” and how hard they will hit one another in contact sports. And next I thought about the age of the typical gay or gay for pay porn performer. I do see a correlation. I am not comparing mass killers to soldiers, athletes or porn actors, but they are all of similar age, before the brain has reached it’s full maturity. I wonder how many of the primarily heterosexual models who worked for Broke Straight Boys over the years think back on what they did at age 18 and wonder, “What the fuck did I do?”. Just sharing a thought that went through my mind this morning.

Here is an important reason why I survived my cancer. I never dwelled upon it. If you dwell on something it can make you sick or do things like kill people. In some it may be caused by a chemical imbalance in the body or a brain whose pattern is not normal. This explanation is not given as a justification but to help understand these horrendous acts.
That's very thought provoking. It makes you wonder what the auto insurance companies already know based on mountains of data collected and analyzed over decades regarding reasonable insurance rates for young male drivers. Insurances are one of the few entities in society that are allowed to discriminate on the basis of age. Auto insurances charge the most for the youngest 16 y/o males of course. But for most younger adult men their insurance rates don't really see a significant "mature adult-like" drop until after 25 years old.

Thanks Tampa. I’m glad that you also find this subject fascinating as the focus of this website is young men basically under the age of 25. And while I made note of young athletes, soldiers, and of course porn stars. But you make an excellent point about insurance companies and their sliding scales based on young males ages under 25. It was an eye-opening set of statistics for me.
Has anyone else had a problem with making payments to parties outside USA. In just has a third such experience. This took 4b days to resolved & was blocked 3 times. I understand the reason is to avoid the rampant fraud but it should not have to involve hours of phone and multiple attempts.
