I just learned about the word Tampa on CBS Sunday Morning which is one of my favorites. Tampa comes from the native meaning of lightening because Tampa has more lightening than any other city in the USA - did you know that?

I do know that Florida is called, "The Lightning Capitol of the World". It easily gets more lightning strikes than any other state in the union. I didn't know that it led Florida. haha

Duke is having a terrible year by their standards. Last Monday, they dropped out of the Top 25 for the first time since 2007, but their record is still 17-6 and they are still waiting for the return of their senior leading rebounder and inside presence Amille Jefferson to return from a broken foot, hopefully in the next few weeks in time for the ACC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament, but in the meantime they have now won two in a row and I am in love with sophomore guard Grayson Allen . I know that Peter tells me that he is ugly but when I am watching a Duke game, I marvel at his skills on the court and at the same time think about how I want to hug him and caress his beautiful body. lol I am such a perv.

Speaking of the name Grayson, as a kid I was a huge DC Comics fan and Batman's "young ward" was Dick Grayson who was also Robin and I had a comic book crush on him too, and this pervy crush goes back to age 10 or so, as I was saying yesterday, my fetishes are deep-rooted, lol!

And of course when the ABC television version of Batman was introduced and the role was played by Burt Ward, I had new fantasy material for my pervy nature as I was then a teenager at age 16, and had more specific thoughts about what I wanted to do to Robin. lol

Duke is still unranked but had a huge win at home last night against #13 Louisville, now three wins in a row for Duke, with three more huge games coming up against ranked teams, Virginia, Louisville again and North Carolina. I do love watching my Dukies!!!!

By the way, Duke's best player, far and away is Freshmen Brandon Ingram who will be a one and done player, going in one of the top picks in this years NBA Draft. But it's a pleasure to get to watch him play for this season.

We as a society have certainly made great strides. But there is still so much to do. Intolerance is alive & well. Even in our most diverse areas. We must continue to be vigilant & proactive.

Tonight is Part I this season of the big rivalry game between Duke & North Carolina, the two schools six miles apart and everyone in the Triangle area of North Carolina is usually a fan or one or the other. They say this game is like "brother versus brother", and in my family way up in New York City, that is the case too as my brother loves UNC and hates Duke and I am the opposite. GO DUKE!!!!

Duke wins!!!!!!!!!!!

I was awake early on Wednesday morning with a long daunting day ahead of me making sales calls throughout Queens followed by a sales meeting at 4:30 PM, knowing that the big rivalry game between Duke and North Carolina would last until past 11 PM, and with Duke losing by eight in the final minutes, I was prepared to go right to sleep, but with Duke's amazing come from behind win in the road to stun North Carolina and their fans, I was shouting "Duke wins" probably waking my neighbors and I watched post game coverage until midnight and I still feel like yelling DUKE WINS!!!!!!!!

I don't know what you have missed. Actually, I don't even know what I have missed other than I have not seen you pop up from time to time. Sometimes it is good to take a little breather from the forums as I have been doing to catch up on life as you have. It feels good to touch base with you again.
