The dates on upcoming scenes are wrong

As I said a few posts ago on this thread, they have never raised the rates here in the eleven years I've been a member, and I fully understand the economics of an independent business such as Blu Media in a world of conglomerates. I just would have preferred a statement in advance by management rather than a member discovering it, as it appeared to be a typo. Regardless, I thank Mark for explaining it now and I certainly accept it as an economic reality of Internet Porn in 2019!

Mike's comments are in line with mine. When you are making a big change (like the schedule), go to the message board and post it in advance to alert members. Some of us will bitch about it, but we won't be guessing.

There is another site I have a long time membership with. They post a Solo on Monday's, an Oral on Wednesday's and a Fuck scene on Friday's. For decades, on this schedule. I would not know what day it was if they suddenly changed the schedule LOL

It's more than notice. Are you cutting back on the number of scenes or not? If you go every three days then it's not the same experience.

We are testing this so nothing is permanent. Yes if you look at the way it is currently setup it does give you delayed scenes which will be some less scenes. This gives us resources to work on new features for the site, better models, behind the scenes, more live stuff etc. Literally this simple change will help free up some resources and help with a more flexible schedule.

We like porn so much, we're willing to pay for it to support our favorite sites instead of downloading it for free. So we want more porn, not less. Less porn doesn't make us happy. Ever. Wow. I still need to get used to the new schedule. Once again it is a night, (Sunday) when there was always a new scene at 10 PM and instead the next new scene will be released on Tuesday. I understand and it is fine, but again, I need to get used to the new schedule. I am a creature of habit. It is indeed hard to teach this old dog new tricks. lol

Bottom line is I signed up because you updated 3 times a week. No I have to think about if I want to stay for less scenes for the same money. Yep, I agree completely. I've cancelled the auto-renew on my membership. It's not up for a while yet, but I doubt I'll be sticking around now.

Back when I first joined Broke Straight Boys, updates occurred on Saturdays. Then Wednesdays were added. After a period of time Mondays were added. Over time, it became Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
If change results in better models, I am willing to ride this thing out!

I was thinking the same. The old way at three times a week we got 156 scenes a year. With this new scheme, we will get 121 scenes a year, 35 fewer. Plus it was nice to know week-to-week when the scenes would drop and look forward to them on the same nights every week.

I’ve noticed that as well and so has my buddy Mikeyank we were talking about it the other day.

I’m disappointed we have to wait for what I hope are fireworks in the next scene till the 5th. But I guess holidays aren’t a good time to release a scene.

Some holidays are better than others but having flexibility will really help us work around these holidays. For instance the 4th is not a good day for an update but Valentines Day is a great day so it varies. It also gives us the ability to do surprise updates.
