Search/Filter Preview

Dear Members

For those of you active on the forum, I thought I would solicit your comments on a search and filter upgrade i've been working on before I implement it.

With it, you can choose up to two filters to apply to the episode library. Keep in mind pre-Broke Straight Boys-2.0 episodes do not have a full set of attribute tags yet (we started tagging episodes with attributes with the start of Broke Straight Boys 2.0)

1. Would this be useful?
2. Is it easy to use? If not, suggestions?
3. Do you like the display of the results? (Images, page links, focus on images rather than narratives)

Great idea WebMonkey. Here are a few suggestions:

Add a few more filters such as facial, fucking, feet, socks, outdoor which are activities rather than types.

I've just made a simple search of solos with no filters and it comes up with all the solos from the entire Broke Straight Boys collection in date order. This is something that a search under Boys banner does not do as it does not include each model.

I wonder if it would be possible if, when you click on the results pic which is fine, that you also have a link to all the films that that particular model is involved in. We're crossing 2 boundaries here - that being the Boys search and this Search/Filter preview. And I think with a bit of tweaking that the results could be fantastic.

I would ask that you add "model names" to the filter, that way I could go to a particular model, who has a six pack and does a duo, etc. Thank you guys for this...it is fun!

I think it looks great WebMonkey. For newer people to the site especially it will surely save them time scanning through for their individual tastes. I also like that it includes more scenes per page. The pictures of the scenes are still of reasonable enough size (and quality) to be able to get an idea if you would like the model(s) involved.

It looks very sleek and modern. A good job done by all.

although the titles would suggest that straight boys orgy 1, 2, & 3 are group scenes they are solos. 1 is caleb, 2 is ray and 3 is mark.
straight boys orgy 4 is a group scene with corey added.
with a few minor changes this is close to perfect.

It's awesome. Any change like that is a welcome addition. I hope the next thing they update is on the main forums page there is really old school models that are on the top part of the page. I know it's a small thing but it would much appreciated.

Id like to thank everyone for the comments and suggestions, and for the tagging. Tagging will continue after this goes up.

Ive made some changes based on your feedback, in particular adding an additional criteria, boy name. Its a bit different from the boy menu page drop down*. Here its a partial name drop down. This helps finding the boy you want skipping the Mike1 Mike2 Mike3 naming challenges and is a most comprehensive listing of the library.

* On the boy page, the drop down only lists the latest boys, who have a 'boypage' containing stats and quotations.

This should be pretty solid. I plan to post it shortly. After the implementation I plan to decomission the free text search box on the member homepage.

this is like getting one of those new devices/gadgets where you just have to see what it can do.
in navy they would take a new ship out to sea to see what she could do.
