the first day of san diego pride was really fun.
it is always good to see sha.
jason and blake are two of the coolest guys i have ever met.
they are as much fun to talk to in person as they are to read on the forum.

I cant even believe what a great day I had! When I found the Broke Straight Boys booth, I just sort of hung back, watching Blake do his thing for a good 10 minutes, while I screwed up my courage to approach him. He is absolutely gorgeous, even more so in person, and as I believe I mentioned somewhere in another post, I am terribly shy, ( well, at least until I warm up, and then, watch out!) and I was just, well maybe not, starstruck, but I was definitely stricken by something! When I finally did introduce myself, he was just as sweet, and humble and gracious as you would imagine him to be! We spoke for a few minutes and he introduced me to Another1, (and may I say it was a pleasure to meet you, sir!) and then to Sha, who is also one FINE looking man! And, if Clay is even half as good at making people feel comfortable as Sha is, it's no wonder that he is able to get the straight boys to try some of the things they do. Within 10 minutes of meeting him, I felt like we'd known each other for years! We even did an on-camera interview, ala Lovelumps in Denver, and halfway through I was so at ease and my shyness so forgotten, that I took off my shades, which I never do. I don't know if it will ever see the light of day, but I had a blast!

Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet and talk to Jason, but I did get to see and watch him work the crowd, and believe me, he too is even better looking and fun in person, but there is always tomorrow, and I will definitely be going back!

Then I kept running into you all over the festival. Thanks so much for all your help there by the way. And sorry if I was a bit gloomy, there was something about day 2 that was really sucking the life out of me and I had so little energy! I think it was merely the fact that the city of San Diego spent the night partying away and didnt wake up for the early bird special. SO the crowd was a bit light for the first half of the day, perhaps that contributed to my lack of motivation.

All the same it was a real pleasure to have met you and everyone else at pride !
