Today we just found out one of our models had died. You guys know him as Dustin Michaels but his real name is Andrew Grande. Many of you were fans of him and many didn't like his performance after a while...but we knew Andrew in a different light.

Off camera he had great fun, happy go lucky personality. We all enjoyed his company and although porn may have not been his thing and he got tired of doing it or at least he got a bit "cocky" Andrew was a great guy. He also help me rescue one of the homeless kittens that hung out around the old studio and he gave the cat to his Mom. Not only that, we guided him to become a better person and he took our advice and started bettering himself. Unfortunately, there are some things young adults today can't give up, having a good time and wanting to party and hang out with friends.

Below is the article of what happen to Andrew/Dustin, he will be missed and our prayers go out to his family and friends. This is our first, hearing a model that died that we personally knew and got to know for more then over a year.

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. — Bay County deputies say a 23-year-old man who was shocked with a stun gun died after choking on a large bag of marijuana during an attempted arrest.

According to The News Herald, Andrew Grande ran from deputies who responded to the scene of a reported physical disturbance early Friday morning. Grande was later confronted by the investigators, who saw him try to put something in his mouth while he struggled with them.

Grande broke free from the deputies, who had managed to put one handcuff over his wrist. Authorities then used the stun gun.

After Grande was shocked, deputies noticed that he appeared to be choking. They couldn't clear his throat with the Heimlich maneuver. Grande was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

OMG sorry to hear that my simpathy goes out to you guys and his family. I liked him he had his sense of humor. RIP dustin remember it is not a good bye is a see you later.

Adam and I were wondering if the death video could be deleted from this thread and if the coming Dustin session could perhaps be delayed a couple of weeks, allowing this thread to be used by everyone to keep alive for a short time that Drew that we all used to love. You know, the one that lived before the 'parties in a package' took over and robbed him of his joy and sweetness. I like to remember Drew in that ridiculous excuse for a baseball uniform that he and Danny first wore on College Boy Physicals. After that, it seemed like the cap became his stock in trade. It suited him. When David would tease him about his fluctuation of weight, it didn't matter. His sometimes thick waist and chunky hips were perfectly suited to our original image of him as a college baseball player. I still see him that way. He just had that 'cocky' attitude, like a 1960 Yankee getting ready to play any other team. Rest easy sweetheart.

Completely agree Rifle. I don't think that's how we should remember Andrew/Dustin. This is a sad and shocking event that came out of nowhere. Even though I didn't know him personally it's still upsetting. I think the most upsetting thing about it is that he was so young. My thoughts and prayers go out to Andrew's family and friends, as well as to anyone who finds discomfort from this tragic event.

That is such sad news David

Such a tragedy for such a young lad, my sympathies are with you guys there and with his family of course.

He was one of the reasons that I first joined the site, a great looking guy who had a cheeky laugh and smile. Definitely how he needs to be remembered.

...It's sad to hear such news, from the good thing you said about him David and his videos Dustin/Andrew seemed like a character, BlumediaStudios is like a big family so when one of us is hurt we all hurt, I just want to send my deepest regards to his family...

I was greatly saddened by the loss of Dustin. There always seems to be a fragile balance in life that none of us could ever fully understand. I know that most of the members probably didn't know Dustin as well as we would have thought but, there are many people here who truly did know him and to those people I offer my condolences on the loss of a friend, a co-worker, and extended family member.
I don't think anyone will ever figure out why someone as young as Dustin could be taken from us in such a way. It would never make sense because there is so much in a young life that should be done long before a time like this. Things to be done, experience, and share with the next person.
I think Dustin was a very good model here. I never got tired of him and always enjoyed seeing him. I looked him up and he seen himself as a model and and entertainer, and there was one more item he checked in his profile but I can't remember what that was. I think its always nice to know what a person thought about themselves in trying to understand him. It shows that he must have really had a fun loving side, and he probably liked to make people very happy when he was around them.
I have always believed that when someone passes away that they leave apart of themselves behing. They leave it in the memories of everyone who loved them, they leave it in the thoughts of everyone who cared about them, and they leave a great void in everyone who will not be able to know them. Although it is not possible to know all we would like to know about a person we have to cherish what we do know, or I guess think we know about them. I hope that everyone who can offer prayers and thoughtful antecdotes to anyone that knew Dustin or worked with him or even those who got to share only a small part of his life on video. He will greatly be missed for the wonderful things he has done that we have seen, and the precious things that will never be done which only God will see. I offer very saddened feelings to the other models, and members of D&E, and BluMedia who knew him best. I know in your great sadness you will remember the good things and regard with honor and love all the time you got to spend with such a precious individual.

I am very sorry for your loss, and although I can only wish you the best in this really bad time, just know that it comes from the heart, where all things ring true.

RIP Andrew

OMG sorry to hear that my sympathy goes out to you guys and his family. I liked him he had his sense of humor. RIP Dustin remember it is not a good bye is a see you later.

OMG! What a horrible way to go. The video had me in tears. He was such a handsome guy who battled so many inner demons. To see him with his face all bloodied and struggling to breathe is too much for me to bear. What a tragedy! He had to have been so scared.

If I could take back any negative comments about his performances I would. But those of us who had less than kind words for him were only critiquing him in his role as a performer. Not as a person.

Andrew is a blessed child of God. I say that in the present tense. My faith allows me to believe that he is still with us on the other side. Where he is free from all the worries, torment and inner conflicts that he struggled with on this side. His soul can once again be at peace. This is not a permanent farewell but is indeed a see you later. Knowing that he is at peace in heaven still does not assuage the grief that many of us feel. Even though many of us know that he is in a better place now, it is still difficult not to feel that the world is a diminished place without him in it.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Including you David and Eddie and all the staff at D&E and Blu who knew Andrew as an individual and are grieving right now.

This thread brings me to what our community just went through with the ambush of four of our Lakewood Police Officers back on the 29th of Nov. The outpouring of support from all over the country including Canada and Australia was just amazing.
As I stated earlier, Peace be with Dustin/Andrew. Yes I did watch the video, but also heard something about it before and an ABC Radio News Brief earlier. The video teared me up too.

Thank you for that Thomas. I think all of us have a heavy heart this evening.
