My son has central air & heat, neither are in basement so I do have a radiator which is enough but the fan if it gets hot and humid is less effective. As I said this year so far it has been better down here, which makes me grateful.

One more thought on the heat. When I was growing up in the 1950’s my brother and I shared a bedroom and all we had was a window fan. I have no idea how I survived. lol

Yesterday was my all day TV day with the Yankees & Astros playing a day night doubleheader and the Congressional Hearings regarding January 6th on prime time TV last night. The Yankees were a dud dropping both ends of the twin bill. But the hearings hit a home run. I woke up early and watched over two hours of “Way too early” and “Morning Joe” to see what the pundits thought. Most interesting stuff to me.
The heat wave continues in the northeast and once again this morning, I did a twenty minute run of the deli and the supermarket and then back inside to my cool apartment. I am very happy to have no particular place to go this weekend, (quoting the old Chuck Berry song, lol). But on my twenty minutes out and about, I did get to see a shirtless runner, and other guys in shorts and other revealing garb. Even if I can’t have “intimate relations” with hot guys, at least I can get to look, and I guess we all like to look or we never would have joined this site.

I never listen the hearings , any hearings but wait for the analysis afterward. In the end all that matters is the saying goes "Where is the beef". In otherward, what will come of this to ensure it is not repeated & will they finally make Trump unable to hold any office again.
I miss power ballads, to my ears music of today is too perfect. With all the audio editing we have, we can tweak and finesse something off key to being on point with just a few clicks. Musicians of the 70s, 80s and some of the 90s just played and if it didn't sound good they re-recorded that part, or if live the show just went on. I do find some of the songs produced today to be really good. If you guys have not checked out Jacob Collier I suggest you do, his music is actually good and he is cute too

You are right Chac. He does have his audience right in the palm of his hand. However after watching that video, I had to listen to James Taylor doing his own version of his great song! And James was kind of cute himself, back in 1970.

Merry Five Months until Christmas

I heard from Tampa yesterday. He said he is in good health but very busy. He said he will be back on the forum shortly.
Get use to that as Global Warming is far from over.
