Ok, y'all I just had a moment of pure panic and I'll let you all laugh at me (or with me now) I was having some "me time" with a new toy that I had bought during the pandemic and never really used before (it's a Lovense Hush) and I of course did the stupid thing and got the larger one. Well on with the story... as I've said before, I am a very large dude and I got myself prepped and popped it in after 20 minutes or so of warming up. Well a time a bit later I'm done and time to remove it and the damn thing won't come out, I can't get a good enough grip on it It's in there like a Chinese finger trap!

Now as it is, access to the rear department is already a bit of a challenge being large, and OMG my arms were burning and my back killing me twisting and turning trying to get a grip on the hooked handle to pull the damn thing out. I'm laying on my bed thinking I'm gonna have to figure out a way to somehow MacGyver this or suck it up and go to urgent care and turn 75 shades of red explaining why I was there (and pay a $200 deductible)

I was contemplating using a pair of channel lock plyers or maybe some vise grips and it finally dawned on me to just wash off the damn lube and see if that would help, so after a quick jump in the shower I finally was able to get the dang thing out (ouch!) Only my pride and a huge scratch from one of my nails on my ass cheek were the causality of the fiasco. Lesson learned, bigger is NOT always better

Hope everyone's day was good, I'm just gonna go to bed now and contemplate getting a FWB for playtime instead of toys

I had to go and use the “google machine” to look up Lovense Hush. From your story it is in the family I surmised, but I was clueless that there was an app generated, remote controlled butt plug on the market. Boy, am I innocent to such things.

I’m glad everything “came out alright”, so to speak. Lol. For anyone else innocent to the world of sexual technology, as I was, I copied a couple of images of Chac’s love toy.

For some reason I kept thinking about your post on this subject during the day yesterday, Chac. While my personal sexual thing is not anal play, but I certainly understand how it is the number one sex act between gay men. And the fact that guys can remotely play with each other and control the feelings inside someone else is a fascinating concept.

It makes me think back to the days when actor Ronald Reagan, (way before he got into politics) and he was the host of television’s G.E. Theatre. Who would have thought that progress would have come this far????

It’s an old saying but very, very true that there is nothing wrong with getting older, as we only have two alternatives and being old is so much more preferable to the alternative.

Today is a cold but sunny day and I’m going on one of my group walks. The title of today’s walk is, “New York in the 1960s: An Uptown and Downtown Adventure!” We start uptown near Central Park on Fifth Avenue to see a museum exhibit and then take the subway to Greenwich Village to explore the roots of the sixties movement in New York City.

I’ll take pics and post them tonight.

I’d be fascinated to know about your sexuality prior to getting married. Were you having sex with guys and were you exploring gay porn? I know from personal experience that gay porn magazines and movies were available in New York City then.

Or was your homosexuality something you repressed even from yourself prior to your marriage? Having always known I was gay from early childhood, I am fascinated by guys who did not have the same experience as I did.

As did I. Interesting………I remember a blond haired blue eyed kid named James in day camp who I maneuvered to be next to. I just wanted to feel his arm rubbing against mine. I might have been 10 at the time, and I had a “crush” on other cute guys even younger.

It looks like climate change is once again messing with our usual weather patterns. Here we are on December 7th, and it is 58 degrees in New York City. But I will be keeping busy working today, heading out to Long Island tomorrow to meet up with two of my college buddies of over 50 years ago. Then this coming weekend I am planning to make another trip into Manhattan to see the Christmas festivities in Rockefeller Center and on Fifth and Sixth Avenue in midtown.

Weaqthern & climate are not the same. In any given year the weather for a season will differ. It is the averages over long periods of time that indicate climate change. Also of note , as the climate warms there is more energy in the atmosphere which creates more extremes: both cold and warm. Naturally for warmer climate the warmer periods are more frequent.
