Next Door Studios and Paul Canon

Well,

I've seen naught but previews of Mr. Paul Canon, on Next Door Studios, which I generally disdain in recent years as pretty tedious (though it was pretty good back in the days when they were featuring Christian Wilde, and Marcus Mojo). . . but I have no doubt that Paul did a great job in his NDS scenes.

What I can tell you, of a certainty, is that Mr. Canon, in his several appearances on "Men" (which I joined to get my Tom Faulk fix, but which likewise is pretty pedestrian, in its videography, and its tiresome insistence on hackneyed plots) has been absolutely incandescent. A standout STAR, full stop. With his neatly-trimmed hair, and his newly-buff physique, Paul is looking better than ever. What's more, he brings that lackluster studio's old formulae to LIFE - because (I was astonished!) Paul can really ACT!

We were lucky to have him on Broke Straight Boys, and I'm glad he did so many great scenes for us, here. One thing is sure - like few others, Mr. Paul Canon is a star who transcends the medium.

I am in TOTAL AGREEMENT with management's decision to do this. After all, that is WHY they are management, and the models/are the EMPLOYEES. Administration has a BUSINESS to run, if they, the EMPLOYEES/actors feel THIS adult film company 'treats them SO POORLY', they have the option to quit, whether it be as soon as they wish, (like other '1 and doners'), or not to renew their contract. JS, ya know?

which of these last 12 partners that paul had would be call not the best partners. Denver, david, Justin, Antonio, conner, ryan, skyler, Dylan, jake, dimitri, Ronan Kennedy, and Tyler White? how about these 12? jaxon, Zeno Kostas, tristian, Dakota, Vadim Black, johnny, Cage Kafig, alan, adam, Kaden Alexander, abel, and shane!

Well.. I could name five right off. But don't want to make enemy's. We all see things different. And I feel for all Paul did for the site.
He was treated like crap at the end.But that is just what I feel..

I try not to "name names" when talking about models who don't appeal to me, as some fans are offended when it is one of their favorites, and more importantly, some of the models themselves read the forum, but as long as you asked a direct question, I will give a direct answer.

His last four scenes, with one other partner released were:

10/24/14 with an overweight Conner who returned to Broke Straight Boys and the fans rated that scene 3.88
1/7/15 was with Antonio and received a 4 rating
1/9 was Justin (who I like the best of the final five partners), but the fans voted 4.18
1/18 was with David Hardy and it was rated 4.21
1/21 was Paul's last scene ever on Broke Straight Boys, and he was paired with another returnee who was not in the best shape of his Broke Straight Boys career, Denver Grand and the fans voted that a 4.11

Paul's over-all model rating is 4.43 and these were all below that level. He has moved on to some major gay porn studios and I gather is very successful. My personal feeling is that the animosity between Broke Straight Boys management and PC and Damien Kyle was manifest in the final pairings that management presented him with.

Just my opinion based on what I see here, and everyone is certainly entitiled to their own opinions.
 
From what I remember and understand from last year was the biggest problem the guys had were with Damian Christopher. And as social media shows us their still sparring with him. I honestly feel it was time for them to move on, but not because their porn skills were lacking anything or their overexposure on this site, but it didn't seem like they were happy here anymore. And we all know how awful it is to work at a place where your not happy.
 
over a long career, paul was in four episodes below 4. the one with conner was one of them. the episode with tristian the episode with johnny and abel and the episode with shane were the other three. the episodes with denver, david, justin, and antonio were all in the low 4's. that's like a touchdown and the extra point. a high 4 is like a touchdown and the two-point conversion.
love paul like I do blake and colin and Jason Matthews. when I comes the performance ratings, blake and jason are on page 1! colin is on page 5 with conner, antonio, and Austin Grant. david and antonio share spots on page 3 with paul. being rated in the top 100 is not like being rated number 1, but it is a position few hold. Denver is now on page 2.
I see things through my own eyes. my mind tells me what to believe I am seeing. opinions are minds, we all have one!

I agree Peter that it probably was time for them to move on, but it would have been nice for them to exit in a more classy way, with management thanking them for all they did to promote the site and the TV show too, but in life things do not always work out the way we wish they would.

To my way of thinking Robb, Paul was "The Superstar" of BSB3, the "best of the best" from that era, and here is is with another huge favorite of mine :drool:

I liked Ronan Kennedy too. He was very down to earth with all he said (when we could hear him lol)...great body too.

Has anybody seen him on any other sites, or did he go home with his pockets full of money, never to be seen again?
