Exactly KG. Some examples of the "good ones" that come to mind are Logan, going old school who kept up his schooling and only did Broke Straight Boys during a couple of weeks off from college. Indeed Mark, the passing of Dustin was tragic but the one that was hardest for me to accept was the passing of Mike Robbins. Mike typified the kind of Broke Straight Boys that originally attracted me to this site. RIP to those who we have lost.

There's no competition of course over the subjectiveness of grief. For myself I was the most distraught over the loss of Dustin. Which surprised me greatly because by the time he left Broke Straight Boys I was no longer a fan. But the shock of his sudden death, along with the awful circumstances, hit me especially hard.

With Mike Robbins I was greatly shocked and in grief over his loss. On the other hand though we had already seen lots of red flags with him. So between his mental health diagnoses that he was pretty up front with us about, his propensity to self-medicate, along with his controversial (and in his mind acrimonious) departure from Broke Straight Boys..it was not as much of a shock when he passed. That doesn't mean I didn't grieve over his loss. I certainly did. I still do to this day. I'll never forget him and I regret the potential of what his life could have been.

Only that Dustin's death was more of a shock and surprise.

Dustin may be the most tragic death of all the models as his final moments were captured on video. This article includes the disturbing video of Dustin choking to death while in police custody. The video was posted on the forum back in 2009 when it happened and I couldn't watch it then. I tried to watch it yesterday, but needed to turn it off as it is so disturbing.
