This is a Chaturbate pet peeve. Outrageous tip menu prices for basic stuff. Those who watch Chaturbate will know what I’m talking about. For example, ass flash 200 tokens….lol

I will just leave those rooms, 16 bucks to see some ass?? At 8 cents per token and the creator gets 5, Chaturbate gets 3, so that is 3/8 so roughly 37.5% commission rate! Like seriously a few bucks more and I can get a whole month to a porn site LOL And that assumes you buy tokens at the 38% more token specials! The site is ripping off the performers (and the people).

Oh and don't get me started on the scammers that are on there. You tip on their menu and they don't perform the request. Happed a few times and Chaturbate told me to fuck off when I reported it last. So they basically enable scamming. Ok rant over LOL

Players that are on Chaturbate reflect th general public. Therefore they reflect the good bad and everything between. The owner is another thing all together, no different than Onlyfans and their copy cats. It is clear that anyone who decides to deal with these kinds of sites should go in with realistic expectations & want the best but expect the worst. Just my opinion of course.

And as I mentioned Peter and I met here in New York City and we drove upstate to meet Betu. We spoke to Johnny every day during the trip. And Peter pulled out the big surprise of having Damien Kyle talk to Betu on Peter’s phone. I’ll never forget the expression on Betu’s face while talking to Damien Kyle. Great memories.

wow. That pisses me off. They allow these broadcasters to run tip menus. That’s like saying if you went to a restaurant and ordered something off the menu it’s perfectly fine if the waiter refuses to bring it to you.

I think the rates have changed. It is my understanding that one token is valued at .05 to the broadcaster. Chaturbate takes a HUGE cut. It cost $10.99 to buy 100 tokens but that 100 tokens is only worth $5 to the model.

Exactly, its a huge rip off to the model. Anywhere from 37.5% to 50% cut for Chaturbate.

Well, math is not my forte. But at that rate (roughly $11 to CB and the model gets back $5), it looks like CB takes a 54.5% cut on all tokens. And if that's at a "sale" or "discounted" price... I shudder to think of the base profit margin they squeeze out of people buying the tokens at full price. Over 60% no doubt. Does one also have to pay sales taxes on the purchase transactions for tokens?

And just as with gift cards, any unused tokens just add money to the bottom line of CB.
