LOL! Nah no voices. I suffer from severe insomnia. I can't take benzos (tranquilizers like Green Jelly Beans). Nothing worked. Then Saphris came into the market and it saved my sanity. It allows me to sleep a full 6 hours.

I looked up Saphris and it seemed to be used primarily for treating schizophremia. lol So I thought that being a counselor yourself that it was a bit of an inside joke in your field. So they have found that it has some efficacy for treating insomnia also. Hmm.

As far as labeling yourself, "ex traight", I am curious if until you discovered your new sexuality, while growing up, did you ever look at other guys and think that the guy is hot, or ever fantasize about sucking a guy's dick?

For whatever reason, as long as I can remember, I've heard the British referred to as "stuffy". I did a search and found this comment on something called "Yahoo Answers".

Are the British modern and forward-thinking or are they stuffy and rather archaic like their royals?

The British "brand" is personified to the rest of the world by the British royals. Is that what most British people are really like -- rather stuffy, aloof, and stuck in the past? I am young and have not yet travelled to Britain to get to know British people. I'm just curious.


I am not a fan of stereotypes, but this one has always been out there. I would have thought that with the "British invasion" of music in the 1960's that stereotype might have ended, for I don't think anyone could call John Lennon or Mick Jagger, or even later Freddy Mercury "stuffy".

I don't think that is sterotypical of being British. It's like saying that all Americans are overweight, or all Germans pinch your towels at the beach.

I agree Jon that stereotypes suck, and I've had two very close English friends and neither fit the "stuffy" mold, in fact one was a 25 year old blonde haired visitor from England and we had quite a steamy summer affair while he was in New York on holiday. There was nothing stuffy about Robin at all.

The other was a famous British television host and theatrical producer who was very gay, and having a fling with my best friend here. He was quite the entertainer and was not stuffy either.
