Just curious, I want to know who is in favor of putting limitations on the area marked for "Member's favourite videos?", MEANING those actors/'boys' that are no longer with Broke Straight Boys, should they be 'taking up space', in the CURRENT favourites? Please FEEL FREE to comment!!

I absolutely think it's fair and is one of the things that I love about Broke Straight Boys I am very open about saying that I prefer BSB1, BSB2 and what followed so much more than the current models and porn, (for the most part). I understand the reasons and the current state of the adult entertainment industry, but I still like what I like.

I am also a big sports fan especially baseball, and when a current player like Aaron Judge does something or sets a record that goes back to the time of Babe Ruth, I think it is so cool to be able to compare. And similarly here, seeing Adam Baer or Blake Bennett or Diesal, Mike Robbins or Tyler Evans listed with the current favorites is a "turn-on" for me as it brings the whole Broke Straight Boys experience together for me. I not only like it, but I love it exactly the way it is right now.

I completely agree. Eliminating great scenes from the past that are so good that they remain "Members' Favorites" makes no sense at all and serves no good purpose. Further, keeping scenes from the past which remain Members' Favorites serve the beneficial purpose of letting the site and members know how its doing. Two examples: The current Broke Straight Boys "Members' Favorites" and "Highest Rated" categories have a nice mix of great scenes from the present and past, showing that Broke Straight Boys continues to do a good job. Even members who prefer the older scenes but admit that. In contrast, the College Boys Physicals site in those two categories are almost all the older scenes, and for good reason. In the heyday of College Boy Physicals, the college boys and their young doctors were constantly sucking and fucking each other. Then the site went into a lengthy period where older docs merely jerked off their younger patients, and that was it. To be fair, a little more oral is working its way back into College Boy Physicals scenes of late. So the College Boy Physicals members are sending the message that the site was better back when it had more action. Finally, new members to a site want to see the best work. So why deprive them of it by withholding the great scenes of models who no longer are active. That's why I totally agree with you.

As I reread Bob's premise of this thread, he is talking specifically about the member's "favorite videos" on the homepage, and I still stand by what I've said, but I am taking it to include members "favorite models". I do find myself using the "sort by" feature of the models by highest rated, quite often for my own amusement and information. And I love the interesting juxtaposition on that list of guys like Adam Baer and Johnny Forza from 2012 along side of Tanner Valentino (who is currently being slotted in the #3 spot, Johnny, lol) who debuted in 2015.

I also enjoy watching the brand new models from recent weeks or months who are ranked on the top three pages along with superstars of the past, and to speculate if the newbies are shooting stars who are up on top with so many less votes to reach the high percentage more easily than the tried and true "grizzled" veterans who must have many thousands of votes to have reached their lofty positions, and I wonder which will have staying power and which will be like Tyler White, who skyrocketed to the top and then plummeted down in short order.

I see that among current newbies now on the top pages, we have Jos Alvarez on Page 1 in the #1 position, and the first page also includes newbies, Jordan Hart and Justin Dean. Page 2 features brand new models Liam and Rick, and that Page 3 includes Landon and Xavier.

While I'm sure the vast majority of members of Broke Straight Boys are here to watch naked boys having sex, for me, this exercise in watching these stats is often more interesting than watching much of the current porn offered, but to quote the great forumite Johnny, "that's just me".

First of all it’s often difficult to know who is a current model. Second of all the very best part of Broke Straight Boys other than this forum is the archives. Most of the best boys, in my opinion are no longe current models. I’d have a difficult time assigning favorites to these new guys with a few exceptions.

I am often amazed at how much we think alike Rep! Although you are a top who likes your "straight boys" on their bellies with their fuzzy cheeks up, and I like my "straight boys" on their backs with their hard dicks up awaiting a hot mouth, at the end of the day, we both like the rough around the edges non-experienced type guys, "fresh off the turnip truck" in the gay porn industry.
