...there was a caveat of sorts in the sense that they are "breaking up" which might mean that Stipe will keep singing solo. I haven't checked lately. They announced on the 21st.

Dear Slim,

REM was so unique from the very beginning. Slim, I always loved this song. I always had a special place in my heart for the lead singer. Some groups are so very essential to the music scene, I could sit back and hear this for hours on end. Such artistry in the music and arrangement that it almost reminds me of Bob Dylan at his best. Isn't it ashamed we so often take artists like these for granted.

Sorry to hear father time is catching up with them too!

GOOD call Tequila!! I have been going apeshit trying to figure out who this was, as it sounds(to ME) a LOT like the soloist James Blunt, but I knew that wasn't correct, as I KNEW that a band performed it!!
