Long Beach Pride 2012 May 19 and 20

next weekend another1 meets jason, denver and blake.

Although that is a great place to visit, it isn't on our schedule for this year. The problem is that many of the events are on the same weekend so we have to select only one. Right now, Long Beach is the closest that we get. We also have San Diego in July.

I have two questions with respect to Broke Straight Boys Pride Events:

1. Why do you go to many of the same places every year?

2. Given that Pride started as a result of Stonewall, why don't you go to New York Pride? If there's ever a place to go every year, it is surely that one.

That's an excellent suggestion Stowe. Perhaps you and I could attend the event together, and then take a walk up to the FDR Post office on East 53rd St and Third Avenue, and reminisce about the good old days.

every year i look forward to two things happening in the month of may.
the first being my birthday.
the second being long beach pride. like going to a big family reunion, same time next year! i look forward all year for this event not for its own sake, but because i enjoy seeing sha and the boys and the dudes and all the people i get to meet. if they were to skip long beach the world would not be the same somehow.
like the birds going somewhere else for the summer.

We try new places and have some new cities. The issue is some prides are too small to be worth attending or doesn't get the response we need to justify the expense. Bringing the guys to Pride events is incredibly expensive. You figure flights for 3 to 4 guys, rooms, paying the models, food, booth, shipping product etc for every event adds up quickly.

We have done NY before but NY is very expensive to go to and we do a lot better in certain cities where there isn't so many other adult companies.
