Let's Settle This Issue Once and For All

I hate the shaved crotch, but I know some men like it. Speak up, please, one way or the other. If a majority of you say you like it, I'll shut up.

The deal with me is that it does NOT turn me on, and looks almost silly, but I am 63 and grew up in a different time and obviously my sexual tastes were formed in a different era. Abe who used to post on the forum would often tell us that young guys today usually do shave their pubes as their girlfriends do it and they tell their men that they want them clean too, and some say they will not suck them if they are not clean shaven, down there.

I like this site to represent the way real straight young guys look today, and so while I don't like it, I also wouldn't want Broke Straight Boys to hire a kid and tell him to grow back his pubic hair before they will allow him to shoot a scene for the sake of the older members of the site. It is just like the loose boxer shorts they wear. Just because in 1965 we all wore tight briefs, I don't want the models to "dress up" for me but prefer they look the way real guys in 2013 look.

I agree completely even though Im alot younger than you. I actually like the shaved look and boxers but it's nice to see someone older understand and respect what guys in this current generation are into. Well said!

I appreciate what you said Nickki. When I was a kid, I used to hate hearing the older generation tell me what kind of music was good, or how to dress or groom myself. They said that bell bottom jeans and long hair and sideburns were unattractive. I've always remembered that and try to not act as my parents acted in regard to the current younger generation or I would be a total hypocrite.

Not a fan of the shaved look. Also, don't like being with someone who shaves all over. There is always the feel of stubble.

I guess it depends on the model for me. Some look awesome shaved down there and some look silly with razor burns. Years ago my partner and decided to shave off the pubes and we both thought it looked stupid and was so uncomfortable when growing back. I like the natural look myself, so when Blake arrived last year I instantly was attracted to him for this reason first.

I have stated my preference for hair in the past. I understand the whole "man scape" thing, and I too shave my pubes down but not off! There was a trend in porn at some point where everyone was shaved bald (particularly in the pubic region). I don't want the guys I am with or watching in porn to resemble a 12 year old boy, or a mannequin! I like at least some hair down there. And on certain guys, body hair is particularly attractive, but that's just my preference!

I actually prefer the balls and shaft shaved with some pubes left at the base. That way you know you're dealing with a real man and not a pre-pubescent. The all-natural look looks great on some models like Blake for instance. But he has a light brown/reddish blondish body hair that looks clean and tidy on camera. Some guys with dark pubes and the all-natural bush, look like they have an unruly bird's nest of hair growth. I'm not speaking of particular models here. Just men in general who you might see in lockerrooms and so on. For guys like that I think that at the very least some light trimming and grooming down there would be in order. Just my opinion. lol That way they can avoid being included in the joke..."What's the last sound you hear before a pube hits the floor? Phewt! Phewt!"

Like mikeyank I grew up in a different time period in which men did NOT shave their crotch and I do not care for the look. I find it looks silly although I do not mistake shaved pubes for a prepubescent boy simply because there is stubble which I find less than attractive. However like mikeyank I understand that times and styles change. Most of the straight boys I know now do shave or at least trim most of their pubes down because their girlfriends like it. I also have no issue with boxers since I am and have been a boxer guy for quite a while having switched during my government service. [Tighty whities do not work well in the tropics unless you like crotch rot.]

I do recall my father, career Navy guy he was, being infuriated with hair that was longer than 3/4 inch on the top of the head not to mention any facial hair. Wearing "dungarees" and a tee shirt anywhere but on work detail was not to be done. I on the other hand wore my hair long and had side burns, eventually growing a mustaches and a beard when I finally could and which I have never shaved except once for surgery. Now guys wear their hair much shorter in general and do as they do. Sometimes I think the dress styles are a bit absurd but I recall how it was when I was their age and keep my mouth shut. I also like sagging pants that so many wear as I have often seen a bit more than perhaps they planned on showing.

Oh well, now I am starting to ramble. Time to go out and yell at the kids cutting across the yard........

There are three things I look for in a guy's crouch: hair, dick and smell. Like pizza, dough, sauce and cheese, I have to have all three items to make my sexual juices flow.

shaved balls are ok but like the bush to go around the dick so when its sucked it gets rubbed.

Excellent post Juanjo. You obviously "get it" as I do, but that is not a surprise as we so often look at things in a very similar fashion. I'm not saying that we are "right" and that anyone else is "wrong", just that we do agree.

Being an older Daddy Bear the more fur the better. I do not like shaved crotches at all, just a total turn off to me. But to each his own. I remember being in Europe some years ago when the whole shaved body thing was the trend. Then I got to Italy and Southern France boy was I happy to find furry men :>). I will take Romeo and some of the more furry models any day of the week. I think the Broke Straight Boys modeling section use to state that if you shave down there we are not interested. Not sure what happened.

I, too, come from an earlier era when there was no shaving, especially by straight guys. Most of my man-man sex during the journey out of the closet was with straight guys - hustlers, trade, etc. - overwhelmingly straight. So I had more than my share of pubes in my mouth and teeth. That's just the way it was. Now I think more straight guys manscape to make their girls happy than gay guys might for appearance sake. I don't like the bald look at all. But I do prefer a neatly trimmed pubic area.

For me it depends on the guy. Some guys should leave it natural while others really need to show off that sweet sack - I know it when I see it just don't know how to explain it I don't mind all of it shaved but prefer it's just the shaved sack I love that! And from a first person perspective it feels amazing!! ok I know
