Three girls one boy
One of my first memories is a boy in the candy store, asking me if I was a boy or a girl. Worse... carefully stepping downstairs at age 4 my own dear mother asked if I were a boy or a girl! Even at that age I thought that was a very stupid question. I was a boy...
At age 5 my mother got a note from school, kids were expected to show up dressed the next day. My mum had three kids to dress up. Due to a lack of time she decided to dress me up as a girl. Next she overheard some parents: "Ah... that poor girl has no costume".
At age fourteen leaving a clothing shop with mum, the sales person said: "Goodbye ladies". I turned around and answered him: "I'm not a lady. I'm a gent!" Boy, did I hate that.
It ended when facial hair started to grow, and my voice broke. I became a man; though not fanatic. These days I love androgynous faces. Girls with a boyish quality or boys, as handsome as a girl.
I find myself very attracted to androgyny, in both men and women, as well as more gender normative folks.
