Sorry to say it all melted. We haven’t had an old fashioned blizzard here in at least two years or maybe longer. Of course big storms can cause big problems but they are pretty at least for the first day. I’m glad you liked the pics T K. Well, the four year anniversary of the insurrection sent an email my way to another thread. Stopping by here. Are all good? It's snowing lightly here in Philly today. The future is murky. I still can't face the political world (AKA the world), but I have friends and loved ones to keep me focused and not so suicidal.

Funny thing is, I was blushing, apparently. I felt the heat in my face, and my friend said so. I never knew that actually happened.

I worked my two days this week and today begins my four day weekend. I slept until close to noon, ate breakfast and watched part of the Jimmy Carter funeral. I finally went out to do morning errands in the early afternoon, and it is sunny with clear skies but very cold 
with a windchill of under 10 F even now. But I was warm enough with my thick winter coat, gloves, warm wool hat covering my ears and a lot of my face. And it is pretty out, although a far cry from the pics I took and showed here during the summer with lush green trees and pretty flowers, or the autumn pics of the golden colors of the leaves and shrubbery but there is actually an elegance of the bare limbs of the mighty trees against the bright blue skies, and knowing that spring starts on March 20th, just a little over two months from today.

looks like a nice day, we were 75 here today with lots of fires that's all that has ben on the air on all major channels 24/7, I am a good 30 to 40 miles away from any of the fires, last news broadcast I heard says th Palos Verdes fire has consumed over 1500 homes and is 0% contained it is so depressing to watch and listen to.I worked my two days this week and today begins my four day weekend. Please keep us updated TK regarding if God forbid any fires move closer to your area. It is devastating to watch on TV News, particularly as folks return to their neighborhoods and where their homes were. It is almost too much for me to watch, as it is unimaginable for me to think about how it affects the folks who lost everything.
I had the day off today (not given on a Sunday for me) and as it was a lovely sunny winter day in this part of the UK went for a walk in the local (icey) woods with a friend.
My friend also took a sneaky picture of me checking out a simple log bridge!

Awesome pictures sjhuk85h I didn't realize the UK had forest areas like on your first set of pictures, when I was over there is was green rolling hills and fields and fairly flat but beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Stay safe. I too am in the area and in between the Palisades and the Eaton fires. We are in the Red Flag Zone right now. Fingers crossed they can control the fires over the next couple of days.

Hi Treb. All is good with me. I’ve been posting on other threads but not getting out much in the “dead of winter”, other than my two work days and a daily trip in the morning out for a newspaper and a trip to the deli or supermarket. I’m pretty much hibernating for the winter.
How are you and how is college and are you working part time or just concentrating on school? Always nice to have you stop by and say hello
