As Denny Bear did, I will take my shot at responding to these points.

I would like to see guys who meet the following criteria, which from what I have read, some of my personal criteria is in line with Blumedia's criteria for hiring models, at least the written criteria on their web sites. And I will comment on the types of scenes that are not interesting. I am curious as to how many members agree?

1. Models should be clean shaven, the face that is. I've come to appreciate the "scruffy" look that many young men today sport, including many of today's hot young leading men in film and on television. I like my models to look like the real straight guys that I see in my everyday life.

2. Body hair should not be shaved.I prefer naturally smooth guys with minimal body hair. Young Tyler is a perfect example of my kind of guy, as he left his pubic bush natural to go with his basically smooth twinkish body.

3. No tatoos or piercings. I'm not a big fan of either, particularly piercing's tend to turn me off, but I have no problem with tattoos, as I see more and more young guys and girls today with them.

4. clean cut, all american look. Not necessarily. If a guy has a hot body, a handsome face, and an attitude I enjoy, it is irrelevant.

6. Ditch the military haircuts, unless they are actually in the armed services. Totally disagree. On a hot guy, the shaved or very close cut haircut helps accentualize the shape of his head and makes a young guy look extremely masculine.

7. No shaved heads or nearly shaved heads. (See answer to #6)

8. Must be able to get and maintain an erection throughout the episode. Agree!

9. Must shower at the studio before filming (I hope they do this anyway). Totally irrelevant to me. That is between the model and the studio and his fellow models. I don't have "smell-o-vision" yet on my computer.

10. Less one-way or one-sided action where one guy does not get fucked and does not suck dick and the other guy does all the work. Totally disagree. Some might agree, others might disagree, here are MY preferences/examples:

Good post Kaalaa. In the real world we will not always be able to get only the straightest of the straight on here. As long as they are not especially effeminate then we can still go along with the fantasy that they are straight.

I just went to the Broke Straight Boys search to look for Jared Fox, and it did not return any results. I'm not sure who you are referring to. Did he use a different name here on Broke Straight Boys, and that name on another site?

However you did not fully answer my question. If when you first stumbled upon the site, and expected to see more guys like "Jared Fox", with his big dick and topping technique, and you then realized that the premise here was to "lure" straight guys, sometimes under the old ruse that David pulled, of having a girl waiting for them, etc., did you not realize that this was not necessarily a place to find just hot guys like Jared fucking and sucking? From reading your recent posts, Logan, you have made it very clear that you are into a very specific type of model, which Broke Straight Boys has only featured occasionally.

I suspect Stimpy has similar interests as I, though I won't claim to speak for him. Not only Stimpy, but others as well, because I relate to comments from some (definitely not all...) of the posters. Broke Straight Boys first attracted me probably because of the straight guy concept--for many reasons, David seemed to do a superior job finding guys with the right personality and behavior, and filmed them in a way that didn't seem contrived. I was put off at times by what I considered to be outright lying--he had no intent of getting guys a female from BSG (although it was a shock when he did!!!), but the willingness of the guys to do things with other dudes was believable from the standpoint of knowing how self-centered guys can be (MsK: read 'pig') in getting their eventual virgin heaven. [okay, don't give me grief for the non-PC allusion to terrorists...]

The other thing about Broke Straight Boys is that the models aren't hardcore porn stars. Other sites I've viewed become boring because it's the typical oral-anal-fetish, and I have no delusions about them being possibly straight--they knew what to do and went for it. Those videos have many guys who are limp or not stimulated, have unconvincing sound tracks of guys in heat that doesn't reflect the excitement of the participants. If they go through the motions mechanically, even more so I find it boring and often skip to the orgasm. Scenes with no spark of interest in the partner make me feel like I'm watching a performance of hookers. I also don't enjoy watching a half-hard huge cock being squished into a hole, or popping out unceremoniously. And I just realized that those videos that are 30-60 minutes long with repetitive activity are also boring after the first 6 or so minutes.

David's use of $1500 to $2000 for an anal scene, which is a lot of dough for his Broke Straight Boys candidates, is far more believable than a mere $200 or $400 because the guys were so incredibly in need of the cash. David also didn't have them flash the $$$ in a way that made them look like a cheap whore.

It was a combination of things that David did well--treat his guys well, pick guys who started rough but came around to understanding that there was both pleasure and $$$ that made it worthwhile. I loved the personality of people like Tyler, Shane Tank, and the like. The ones who behaved like some of the guys on BSB2 I tended to ignore. Like so many of the forumites, I also ignored many of the solos (fell into the same boring category as many of the hardcore porn sites that never differentiated themselves from each other, aside from how astoundingly good looking the actors were).

Did I enjoy seeing repeat performances? Absolutely, because the ones with great personality and bodies endeared themselves to me to the point I didn't care if they turned bi. That included the gay ones like Mike, who enjoyed sex with other guys but was not a femme, enjoyed the prospect of turning a straight trick, and even allowed someone to top him. The gay ones like Rabib (fuck me and get it over with quickly while I spread my legs) did nothing for me, but the performance from the partner might still salvage the scene.

I still hold on to the hope that BSB2 will come around consistently with the kind of guys I can enjoy watching. If not, well, for now some of the great guys and gals on the forum make it worth the subscription...
