What I liked about this scene was something I hadn't thought about before re: the way the guys come across on a straight-gay scale. David has always said that he includes the occasional gay guy in a shoot to help the Straighties along. What I noticed in this video is that Giovanni helped them along a lot, but not the way Dave means, i.e. showing them how a mouth pretending to say "O" can fit over a dick, or that you have to push a little harder and have a stiffy that's a little stiffer to fuck and boy instead of a girl.
What Giovanni did here was to put into relief the straightness of two other guys who, without him, would have seemed too tender, too willing, too complicit, too turned on. This was a brilliant video. We got to see the kind of scene we've been wailing for, with little gestures of affection and rapport, without being compelled to be suspicious of the Straighties' straightness because of them. Giovanni, with his undercurrent of gayness (mostly in his speech), gave them the contrast they needed to be able to show their softer side safely.
EJ would have kissed il bello Giovanni's cheek if Giovanni hadn't gone all shy, ducked his head and gone down on his elbows. I rewound 3 or 4 times to see if I could tell what the fuck was going through that bitch's head to DO that. Let him kiss you next time mister.
I sometimes think it's pointless to ask that certain models be brought back since we never know how long ago they shot the video we liked enough to ask for them again, and therefore whether they could even be located to be called back. I loved all three of these guys and think that the tripling up of this specific trio was brilliant casting.
