Curious about something

Tampa, another well stated comment! I, for one, appreciate what you and Ambivalent have contributed to this thread. Further emphasizing the "Does it really matter?" what the models' identify as....so long as they are here to deliver the entertainment we come here to enjoy? Perhaps these expressed sentiments would help the models feel more comfortable and honest with themselves....and others?

I agree with you Tampa, Betu and Frontier that in "real life", there is no need to put a label on a person's sexuality as we all fall into our own place on the sexual scale, but do keep in mind that the name of this site includes the "label" straight in broke straight boys, and so it does play a major factor on this niche fetish site, for those of us who enjoy watching at least the illusion of straight guys having gay sex.

Thanks Betu and Mikey. For the sake of my fantasy enjoyment of the site I have always considered myself a straight purist. By that I mean that I prefer to see the models hired here to be as straight looking and acting as possible. That said, if a favorite model of mine turned out to be bi or gay, I wouldn't drop him like a hot potato either. There are some models who I really adore. If at times my gaydar is proven correct that they are not as straight as they claim, the world doesn't end for me. haha

Maybe it's my imagination but I believe there is a cultural change going on with younger people. They aren't so hung up on labels as the older generation. With camera phones and social media a lot of people are putting themselves out there and playing around with whoever comes along. It seems like a lot of younger guys don't think of it as gay or straight but just sex. Although I'm not comfortable with how casual young people are about sex and how young many of them are when they start. I do like it that they aren't looking to label themselves and confine themselves into 1 box.

Personally I don't care if a model is gay or straight and I have more respect for the guys who don't want to label themselves weather it's because they don't think it's anyone's business or they aren't sure where they fit in and maybe they don't want to limit themselves to one kind of experience.

I watched a video last night of a newer model who professed to be straight and never did anything with a guy but everything about him screamed Mary to me. When he was supposedly getting fucked for the first time, I thought his moans were from pain but then I saw the smile on his face and next he's begging to get fucked harder. Like I said I don't care if he's gay or straight but I felt like he was lying to me and that did bother me. If you are gay and you're pretending to be straight then don't be so black and white about it, be more vague it's more realistic. Let's face it porn is all about fantasy, it's not really life it's what the models make you believe it is and that's where the real talent comes in, when you make me believe it.

Well, well, once again, another perspective that I truly appreciated reading! The cultural change is something I tend to over look sometimes, but you are right on point with that! Even in the work place, I find myself questioning how these young people can take an opportunity of making way more money than some adults with families and mortgages, and treat it like, "oh well, it's just a job, I can get another one?" It is about the "change in the culture" compared to when I was at the same age! There are different "norms" today within certain age groups that perhaps, weren't as acceptable in my younger days! And, I would also agree; how a model sells themselves is also relevant to me in porn. Like you, it really isn't as important to me "whom" they enjoy sleeping with but, I'd rather they were up front or at least keep it "real or at least within the fantasy of the site". Great contribution to this thread BenBen!
