Curious about something

Zeno Kostas recently stated something that leads me to believe: Yes, there are exceptions to this thinking! I would say there a many more who are capable of "performing, having the pleasure associated with...but not being attracted to other guys" and still be considered straight.

I am having a hard time remembering this conversation. I vaguely remember talking with you guys about this but don't remember when. can you find the post to remind me??? please?

I feel that all that answer the Broke Straight Boys ads, feel out the applications and eventually show up for that solo are at the very least bi-curious. They know this is a gay site, so if they really act like their not interested in whats going to happen when they continue to return then their just fooling themselves. I have seen every model on here and my perception is: only around a dozen or so of the guys are truly bi-sexual. This doesn't at all sway my feelings towards their performances, as the majority of my favorite models are very masculine acting. The models over the years who really like to bottom, CJ, Cousin Anthony, Ashton, Jason, little anthony and currently Damien Kyle are all masculine in nature, so this is what the turn on is for me on this site- Two straight acting guys fucking each other!! Except for the obvious gay boys we've had over the years, for the most part all the models I think are masculine gay guys ( like me).

I can't think of anything more to say. That won't get me in trouble. So hope you don't mind my using your words Peterh...
For the most part all I think are masculine gay guy's ( like us ) ...

hmmm now you have me curious. TELL TELL! I seriously doubt that any of us will feel any discomfort from this.

Zeno Kostas, my boy. If you were curious before, I don't think you are now. Keep up the good work. I will say that my favorite of your scenes was the one you did with Tate. I've watched that one several times. My hand towel has so many fishies on it, it needs it own aquarium!

This is an intriguing question. I would like to hear more. But I would have to say that I would not want to hear about a guy who still appears on Broke Straight Boys Part of the fantasy is that they are straight and can get a boner with another man if the pay is good enough. Speaking of which, I would like to know what the pay scale is. For example, on the old Broke Straight Boys, a guy earned more if he did more (e.g., Damien's recent "swallow," which I found very erotic. Can we see more of this?). I can easily believe that a straight man will take some tongue or some semen if the price is right.

Yeah man no problem. I never mind answering questions. In fact I welcome them.

First I just want to say that I am still straight (this is just the way I see it). Now I say this because I am completely attracted to women. In fact I am quite a flirt. I don't pursue men in any way. The only time that I sexually interact with men is on the set. I don't look at other guys and think "damn I'd tap that" haha That's what I think when I see a fine tight woman walk by. For this I don't consider myself to be gay. Now I know that in the eyes of others this is arguable. My response to that would be that when I imagine my future I can only picture myself having a wife that I lay with every night and children that I drop off at school every day. I can't see myself doing these things with a man. I just can't.

Wow Betu. You're good! I searched all over last night and couldn't find it. Here's the particular quote Betu was referring to Zeno Kostas.

I am certain that they all are gay for pay. most are believably straight. declaring who is also gay by nature is not an activity I can engage in.
if every model on every list were correctly identified, then I would have to re-examine what I consider believably straight.
a small squad of gay/bi models would spice things up.
any model that can rate high in the performance ratings and appear in high rated episodes is worth keeping on the list of available models.

i have looked at a lot of girls and thought I could rock her world. we flirt and if anything should happen, it was just for hits and giggles.
gay guys don't settle down with women!? but the right woman can move the world.

As a str8 female I have no desire at all to be with a women. Now if I had to due to being in some desperate situation and that was my only means to obtain money, I might be able to do it once or twice. But to continue to engage in sexual acts with a female on a regular basis (which for me would be more that 3 scenes at the most..and that's pushing it) would not happen. Because just thinking about it would not do a thing for me what so ever. And I assume I would be able to get out of whatever situation I was in with the pay from 3 scenes and therefore would not return and find other means of income. So due to that, I feel it's the same with guys on here. I have such a hard time believing that the ones who are regulars are straight. I can understand doing it once, twice, even 3 times out of desperation and need for money, but anything after that in my opinon means there is some sort of attraction there. It may not be much but still not straight. And the whole gay for pay thing I see the same. I can possibly believe it maybe once or twice but if they return over and over then I just cannot accept that they are straight. I don't buy it. Plus about 95% of the time when they claim its their first time, I either have seen them on another site saying the same thing, or they leave here for another site and claim the same thing there. Its rare I don't see a model on several sites claiming its their first time. Now the ones who come and do 1 or 2 scenes and then don't return anywhere, I can beleivve they may be straight and just did this out of curiousity or the need for money.

As a 100% gay male, I agree 100% with every word of your post, except I do not check out other sites as often as you do, and cannot affirm or disagree with what the same models may do or say on other sites, but everything else is spot on and I feel just as you do about the guys who return repeatedly.

Good post guys .I agree. Now we ca all rest easy. LOL

I keep Broke Straight Boys mainly for the straight guys but some guys here come to explore their curiosities so yes some end up being gay. As for College Dudes it is mainly gay guys now. But back in the day we had a ton of straight guys on College Dudes Who do you guys think is gay on Broke Straight Boys?

*************************************************

Hey, Mark ~

Interesting question, for sure - LOL! And of course it interests a lot of people (I get a little curious, too, sometimes!) I know that Broke Straight Boys was founded as a site intended for gay guys who get into straight guys experimenting, and going a bit beyond their comfort-zone: and I have no doubt you guys make that happen, relatively frequently ;-)

All I would say is, I've had a very interesting experience with sites I've frequented, over the years. And there are some big cultural differences.
*I've been a member of some European sites, where most of the members hope, pray, and EXPECT that most or all of the models are gay, and get very PISSED OFF, if they aren't! (In reality, most of the models are usually straight, in line with the general population, but in chats, etc., they play UP to the members' expectation.)
*I've been a member of some American sites, where most of the members hope, pray, and EXPECT that most of the models are straight, and get very pissed off, if they aren't! (In reality, a lot of them ARE straight, but some of the all-time favourites have turned out to be gay, or bisexual, and that gets people all wrought-up!)

I totally get that there are a lot of gay guys who have a unique and special attraction to straight guys. . . because who amongst us didn't grow up with mostly straight guys ~ and have an attraction to at least one or two straight guys who proved to be both delicious, and unattainable, for us? (Of course, some guys have a fantasy about "converting" straight guys, but I think that's a total fallacy. YES, open-minded people can learn to enjoy sexual pleasures which normally don't appeal to them - but that doesn't mean they've been "converted", or fundamentally changed. Because, sexuality isn't a matter of performing certain acts (as pleasurable as they might be, in the moment): it's a matter of where the MIND and HEART, are. . . . (I guess if I were good-looking enough for someone to want to pay to SEE it, and I were hard-up for cash, I could have sex with a WOMAN. . . but that wouldn't make me STRAIGHT?!?!?!?)

As far as the models on here, or on College Dudes, go: it's all good, as far as I'm concerned. As long as they're cute (or even beautiful, like Jason, Damien, and Paul - to my taste ;-); as long as they are going into the experience with open eyes, and with minimal risk to health and safety (and I know you guys care about that); and as long as (from my perspective) the scenes are hot, and the videography is SUPER. (And they don't. . wear. . . socks. . . ROFL!!!). . . It's all great entertainment, to me! (And more than that - sometimes it's company and comfort, as well.)

If and when models choose to open up about things they are feeling, and want to share more personal insights with us here (and this is one of the great bonuses of this site, being able to share a bit on the board, with some of them) - that's cool! But I, personally, don't expect or demand that ANY model has to do that, for me to enjoy his performance. . . whether he is straight, gay, or bi.

My sense is that, the model cadre on Broke Straight Boys (in this new and more adventurous generation) probably follows the proportions of the general population as to sexual orientation - give or take maybe ten per cent in the "bisexual" or "bi-curious" direction. But, the guys you have been featuring here, lately, are by and large friendly, open-minded, and happy to engage with their overwhelmingly gay audience - AND with the straight women who enjoy the site, as well: and that's good enough, for me!

I appreciate all that the models do for us. I appreciate and support all the gay or bi models who are exploring their sexual feelings: whether they are ready to say so, or not. I ALSO appreciate and support all the straight models, who TRULY ARE doing it just for the cash (and I have personally known models like that, in my lifetime): but who are willing to "take the plunge", and do something a little unconventional. EVEN MORE SO if they are willing to engage with their gay fans, and be decent and friendly, and non-judgemental, toward us.

It isn't really for me to judge who's gay, bi, or straight, amongst the models. My policy is, if a model says something on the board, to take him at his word, and appreciate him for the person he is, or feels himself to be, at this moment. It is possible that some of the models who portray themselves as being totally straight, will discover later on, that they had OTHER FEELINGS lingering in their hearts. It isn't for me to judge them, psychoanalyze them, or do anything but support them, as human beings. Likewise, some models who portray themselves as gay or bi. . . may be doing so in an effort to please us. . . or may discover a heterosexual love that really WORKS for them, and later recant. . . and they deserve appreciation, and support, as well.

When it comes to someone's deepest feelings, and LIFE (as a matter of fact): there is really no second-guessing, such things. As fans and friends of the site, I suppose we all may have our own personal theories or speculations about "model x", or "model y." But I think the important thing for everyone to remember is that: life is TOUGH - as I am sure it has been, for all of US. And that the human psyche is complicated, and highly individual. And that the BEST thing we can do, as human beings, for OTHERS, is just to be decent, friendly, and supportive, to others who share parts of themselves, with us.

So, when it comes to the eternal question: "Who's really straight? And who's really gay?" ~ I would have to say (or sing) along with Kevin Meany: "I don't care. . . I don't care. . . " LOL!!! Just be good to everyone, and it'll all work out, for the BEST :)

"A" XOXOXOXO

That is so well said Ambi. Thank you.

A porn model told me years ago, "I started out straight, and ended up gay." After he had done porn work for various sites, he said that he was done with women because he didn't like the drama. (As if men bring no drama. lol) But whatever. :)

So would he have been lying to viewers if he had told them he was a straight model when he started out? I don't believe so. Human sexuality isn't always a set-in-stone lockbox. For many of us it does feel like that. For some other people though sometimes it is a fluid and evolving process. The pendulum may swing a little bit one way or the other (and back again) throughout the course of their lifetime, depending on which person of most significance to them shows up at any given point in the timeline.

Tampa, another well stated comment! I, for one, appreciate what you and Ambivalent have contributed to this thread. Further emphasizing the "Does it really matter?" what the models' identify as....so long as they are here to deliver the entertainment we come here to enjoy? Perhaps these expressed sentiments would help the models feel more comfortable and honest with themselves....and others?

Hate labels, (gay, straight, bi, metro sexual, etc) but I would agree that the actors above seem like, as the medical nomenclature puts it "men who have sex with other men".

I agree with you Tampa, Betu and Frontier that in "real life", there is no need to put a label on a person's sexuality as we all fall into our own place on the sexual scale, but do keep in mind that the name of this site includes the "label" straight in broke straight boys, and so it does play a major factor on this niche fetish site, for those of us who enjoy watching at least the illusion of straight guys having gay sex.
