I was wondering... When you post a thread about College Dudes scenes, how about if you copied and pasted a link to the teaser video for it? I guess as a member of College Dudes that you would have to log out first to be able to see and copy only the teaser video as well as the link to the profile page for the vid. Your threads and posts of favorite College Dudes scenes would have more impact and participation with a link to images of the models of whom you speak.

If non-College Dudes members could at least see the teaser links they would have a much better idea of the models and scenes you're talking about. Plus, I'm sure Mark would approve of the cross-advertising. The sole purpose of those teaser vids is to try to convince more people to join the site. It would cross an uncomfortable line if Mark was the one to do it here, which is why he doesn't. But if you choose to talk about an occasional favorite College Dudes scene...why not share a link to it for those of us who are too lazy or not motivated enough to go find it for ourselves? haha

You are very good about putting "College Dudes" in the title of your threads. So people know to skip opening the thread if they have no interest. Be careful though Beth. If it's overdone with threads about College Dudes, you know we'll still see a backlash from people disapproving of too much mention of another site in here. Very good suggestion Tampa! It seems that Beth and Betu are the only ones who exchange our enjoyment for College Dudes on the forum but, it would appear to me that, things might be changing on that as well! Your suggestion of the teaser would definitely provoke some curiosities. In addition, there have been some noticeable changes on this site too since I joined. While it's too early to determine a "direction" (only the last two scenes released have been directed by Johnny) and we don't know what scenes are to come, previously shot, I a confident that College Dudes is getting prepared to take on more members!!!

But, thanks for helping me to make up my mind - I have now canceled by membership with both Broke Straight Boys and College Dudes - they obviously don't care, because they have chosen to ignore my complaints - so much for good customer service. Whoa dude. Really? I was not aware that someone died and you were appointed Queen of the May. I can understand that different people can disagree on specific issues - like a director's style or the looks of a model. But calling people names and announcing that you are cancelling your membership because no one is simply kowtowing to your demands is really not necessary. My normal reaction when someone says they are leaving the website because it no longer feels their needs is to wish them well and to state I am sorry it does not meet their expectations. After all I have been in that situation myself concerning other websites. But in your case all I can say is don't let the door hit your ass on the way out it.

It seems to me; any business where there is a very competitive market, people choose your product based on different things. What you carry that they like, if they can get it somewhere else cheaper, the features you offer that the competition doesn't. When I buy goods or services anyway, these are some things I look for. If I don't like what is offered by one merchant, I have the choice to go elsewhere. The merchant may help me choose their product by explaining additional features or services included with my purchase. Being that I said a competitive market, he most likely doesn't expect to meet the needs of every customer or to make every customer happy. Customers will come and go, and sometimes come back again. It's not the merchant's fault in all cases that they cannot change what they do, to satisfy even a handful of customers. When I worked in retail; we serviced a lot of customers. I worked for a "big box" office supply company. I had good and frequent customers who "over-valued themselves" sometimes. If one or four of these customers stopped making purchases because we stopped delivering, my sales numbers didn't even flinch.

Apples and oranges maybe, but in business, you will loose a few but, if your product is desirable, you'll gain back even more in the long run.

The interesting thing about this site, and Rick sort of illustrated this, we have no idea how many people subscribe to this site. Not all of them post on the forum. I'd never have known that he subscribed to College Dudes either had he not mentioned it. I've seen several members leave during my time here and some with much fan fare! When they announce their pending departure, it is not uncommon for Mark thank them for their time on the site or wish them well. It's not that they don't care, it's a known fact that you cannot and will not please everyone. I wouldn't even be surprised if some people leave, and then rejoin under a different name. Then remain silent for a while.......watching every scene

I guess I am one of the seven people talking. I am not a member of College Dudes so I cannot comment on the scenes there, but two others of the seven, Beth and betudidntknow are members of College Dudes, and they seem to like the new director. It is all a matter of taste and there is no right or wrong.

I would imagine that Johnny the director is not leaving anytime soon, based on the comments made by Mark and some of the models who've worked for him, so your only options are to keep complaining, which is certainly your right as a paying member or to quit the site.

Like I said to you before Johnny, with the new director I can see this being a "bumpy ride". But I kind of like controversial stuff, so as I was seriously considering leaving this site after "forever" *, but with the new change of directors I'm going to stick it out and see what happens.

* PS Chances are I wouldn't have quit even if Clay remained, but the thought did keep popping up in my mind.

People were saying terrible things about Clay when he first arrived also. It was a bumpy ride for quite a while. But the rough edges (of Clay and his experimentation with scenes) got smoothed out. I think the same will be said of Johnny in just a while. They will rein in the things that aren't working with his style and encourage that things that are. With a brand new director it takes about 2 months for them to get their bearings. I can give Johnny that long also. Hopefully we'll get lucky and it will be even less. With Clay it took him about 4 months before he got a good formula going. I don't think it will take Johnny that long.
