Mark, you have more information than we do regarding the analytics of how many votes each model has received. As I have pointed out since I began this thread in December 2016, that the newer models can easily jump up to the top with only a handful of votes, while for the guys who’ve been on the site longer it takes a lot of votes to move their positions.
Harrison has been on the site for one month, Nico for eight months and Chase for four months. To my way of analyzing, I discount any with less than a year, and still rate Jake and Darron as #1 & #2. No disrespect to Harrison, Nico and Chase but let’s check back a year from today and then we can get a better idea of their overall popularity. Just my thoughts on these raw numbers, without the nuance of the number of votes behind the percentages.

With the talk today about Jake Spencer being on twitter and promoting an OnlyFans, (although I am now very suspicious that it isn’t him), but I took a quick peek at the Top Models this morning. My method has always been to not include models introduced in the past year as their numbers are skewed by less votes than the guys who’ve been around for longer. (Although Nico with a 4.74 will be here for a year in less than four months and may challenge for the top spot then). But using my guidelines, the top five today, July 24, 2023 are:
1- Jake Spencer 4.73
2- Darron Bluu 4.71
3- Calhoun Sawyer 4.71
4- Ashton Silvers 4.70
5- Adam Baer 4.65
With Adam not having a new scene released since June 28, 2013, over a decade ago, that is a remarkable feat. And I believe that with Jay’s fantastic two part Best of Adam, perhaps more members gave Adam a look and voted for him perhaps for the first time.

Thanks so much Burgess! I love Broke Straight Boys and this forum has been a big part of my life for the last 14 years. So it is a labor of love to compile the top ratings. But knowing that you are enjoying my lists and getting into some of the classic models of yesteryear greatly pleases me. Thanks! For letting me know.

It’s been eight months since I checked “the standings”, to use a sports metaphor. Again, by my standards a model has to have been on Broke Straight Boys for at least a year. In the current Top 10, Chase Tyler just meets my minimum as he debuted on March 1, 2023. And the two longest standing members of the Top 10 are Adam Baer from November 2012 and Ben Dover, May 2016. Just looking at the raw numbers it does have some strange leaders, however using my method of filtering out any model introduced in the past year, (because the raw percentages are totally skewed by the lack of total votes for the newest models). I just did a new calculation of the Top Ten, of models who have been here at least one year, starting in July 2023. The numbers are very similar to my last check a few months ago.
I am showing current ranking, ranking in March 2024, followed by name, start date and ranking.
#1 (was #1) Nico Max 11/22 4.78
#2 (was #2) Jake Spencer 9/18 4.74
#3 (was #3) Calhoun Sawyer 11/19 4.72
#4 (was#4) Ashton Silvers 12/21 4.70
#5 (was #6) Darron Bluu 11/21 4.68
#6 (was #5) Chase Tyler 3/23 4.68
#7 (Not on list) Ricky Bobby 12/22 4.66
#8 (was #7) Ben Dover 5/16 4.66
#9 (was #8) Adam Baer 11/12 4.65

Newest model on the list is Chase from March 2023, longest lasting on list is Adam Baer from 2012, followed by Ben from 2016, Jake from 2018, and Calhoun and Sky from 2019. I hope I got the numbers right, and I do think it is a fairly representative list. Personally speaking a few on the list do not belong and many others do, but that is of course subjective.

I decided to look back at the first time I compiled the Top Ten, in 2016 and I see that Adam Baer was #1 and today in 2024, he is the only one from that list still in the Top Ten. That is staying power. Adam is a Broke Straight Boys Superstar.I always find it interesting to check these rankings periodically and while many are very close from #1 Adam at 4.61 to #10 Junior at 4.53, I do love the combination of all eras of Broke Straight Boys reflected in these viewer rankings.

Adam, Johnny & Blake Bennet were added in 2012 as the "oldest" and Junior in 2016 is the "newest" in the top 10. Without copying all the names, each page has 24 names and page one also includes from 2007, Tyler Evans from 2008 Jason Matthews, and from 2016, Levi Jackson & Benjamin Dover.
I do love that Broke Straight Boys keeps all of the oldest and all of the newest and keeps them together in the rankings. Most interesting stuff to me, and as another1 seems to be out of the "statistician" business, lol, it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. lol
Funny how the rankings have changed overnight. They’re still all over the place but not quite as noticeable as last night when I posted.
Actually, they still don’t make any sense. My main frustration is so few scenes from a model or models and they’re ranked in the top of all time. So many superstars over the years, amazing performances, and we’re handing out high placements for models with 3 or 4 scenes and some models that aren’t even coming back. It’s a joke and pathetic.
I don’t have issues with Darron, Ricky, Nico and 1 or 2 more. I also don’t take issue with anyone eventually getting there, but there has to be a better system. We’re telling guests, potential subscribers, who the best of the best is and some of them have 3 scenes.

You are not coming across as negative. Keep in mind that perhaps a very handsome cute model has only filmed 3 scenes, but the members think that particular model is very hot, they immediately give them 5 stars. On College Boy Physicals.com site, we have a newer model named Danny Shine and his first 3 scenes, his ratings were high and still is to this because the members on that site and those that come from Broke Straight Boys site to watch College Boy Physicals think that Danny Shine is super hot twink boy with great personality, they gave him high scores off the bat. Coming soon is Vincent Grey...his first week he only filmed 3 scenes, but I bet you he will receive high scores immediately.

Because a new model with a small handful of votes can easily jump into the highest percentile is the reason I arbitrarily make one year my cut off for including in all time rankings. I would guess that Adam Baer from 2012 has tens of housands of votes to attain his 4.65, while a model who debuted a month ago with perhaps under 100 votes cannot be equitably compared. I agree with you Jay that there should be a fairer way.
